Greece Rotary Club Fundraisers 100% of the proceeds go to support the local Greece Community and Rotary International Ziti Dinner This is our largest fundraiser and every member is expected to work at this event. Sign up to play or work the tournament, Gene Noga Chair Red Wings Concessions Minor fundraiser for both Greece Rotary and Interact Clubs - Part of proceeds support Honor Flight Rochester. Sign up to work concession stands with other Rotarians. Our club earns a percentage of the sales and all the tips, Coupon Book Sales Judie VanBramer will have several types of books available for sale to club members beginning in September. Major Service Projects Greece Rotary Lodge Recently completed the refurbishment of this Monroe County Park Lodge that Greece Rotary built and donated many years ago, Ralph Annucci, Chair Mercy Flight Helipad at Unity Hospital In honor of our 50 th year, dedicated Spring 2012, Larry Wills, Chair Handicapped accessible playground at Greece Canal Park Ongoing Service Projects Dictionary Project Help distribute dictionaries to all 3 rd graders in Greece and Hilton School District over several weeks in September, Deborah Whitt, Chair BOCES II Summer Picnic Help prepare/serve food for the event held at one of the Greece Schools during summer school, Judie VanBramer, Coordinator Monroe County Leaf cleanup for Greece Sr. Citizens by our Interact Club ay Odyssey H.S. BOCES II Holiday Luncheon Assist with serving the food and entertaining the children in lieu of one of our December luncheon meetings, Judie VanBramer, Chair Monthly Food Collections on behalf of Greece food closets, Judie VanBramer, Coordinator Thanksgiving Baskets, Judie VanBramer, Coordinator Willow Center for Domestic Violence -Adopt a Family for Christmas

The Five Avenues of Service Community Service Rita Garretson, Chair Ongoing Projects/Programs Quarterly Food Collections on behalf of the Greece Ecumenical Council, as well as support for several families at Thanksgiving, Judie VanBramer, Coordinator Toy Collection for the Pirate Holiday Toy Fund, Andy Conlon, Coordinator Dictionaries to all third graders in the Greece & Hilton Schools, Deborah Whitt, Coordinator BOCES Holiday Party and Summer Picnic for special needs children, Judie VanBramer, Coordinator Support of Camp Haccamo for children with special needs, Chuck Krause, Club Representative Literacy Program under the direction of Deborah Whitt and Tracy Wooden Current Projects: Collecting magazines to distribute to various locations. (Please bring them to our meeting for collection.) Past Projects: o Support for Home School Study Packets at the Greece Library o Supplying books to community locations for the creation of small lending libraries o Creation of Treasure Boxes, placed in classrooms to help needy students with school supplies. International Service Kim Massielo, Chair past projects include: Nigerian water project Turkey hearing aid project Turkey hand surgery correcting webbed fingers Sponsored training for dentists from Turkey Indian library for the blind Support of Athena Middle School s efforts to benefit Water For South Sudan, House for Heart in Nepal, and mosquito netting for Village Care of South Sudan Foreign exchange student THE GREECE ROTARY- MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE GREECE COMMUNITY
