TWO RESTAURANTS AND MOLECOLAR CUISINE Mistral La Goletta Two restaurants to appreciate the pleasure of culinary excellence. Great passion, close attention to raw materials, creativity, experimental cuisine: these are the factors which make the two restaurants managed by Ettore Bocchia a must address for culinary tourism lovers. The Mistral Restaurant is the more formal, elegant, refined restaurant and it is located on the spectacular terrace overlooking the lake. Thanks to the creativity and passionate commitment of Executive Chef Ettore Bocchia, since 2005 the Mistral got 1 Michelin star. In 2013 the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni gained another prestigious and valuable asset: Carlo Pierato, in 2014 has been awarded as the best Maître d Hotel and Manuel Ferrari in 2015 as the best Pastry Chef of the year by the Espresso Restaurant Guide. The Mistral offers also a tasting menu of molecular cuisine, of which Bocchia is the leading Italian expert. During the week-ends, the Mistral is open both for lunch and dinner while during the week days it is open in the evening. Every night the dinner is accompanied by live music. From Monday to Friday, Mistral can be reserved at lunch for private or corporate events. La Goletta Restaurant: located next to the swimming pool, is characterized by a cozy and casual atmosphere inspired by the boats of the lake. Molecular cuisine Molecular cuisine is today the most advanced frontier of culinary research. It is a new way of cooking based on the scientific observation of what happens to the ingredients in the process of cooking, cooling and matching during food preparation. This new awareness leads to improve traditional dishes as well as discovering new cooking methods, new taste experiences and new opportunities for dietary cooking. Chef Ettore Bocchia was the first in Italy to approach this type of research, since 2002. In his two-fold role as rigorous researcher and creative chef, he has paved the way to Italian molecular cuisine in Italy and today he is considered to be its initiator and major authority. VILLA SERBELLONI SPA: WELLNESS & BEAUTY For well-being, Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni offers two separate spaces for beauty and fitness. The area dedicated to beauty of Villa Serbelloni SPA offers a cozy atmosphere and a wide range of wellness programs, from single treatments to Beauty Day or to weekend or weekly programs. Inside the SPA guests may let themselves be pampered in the original Twin Cabin, ideal for relaxing and romantic couple s treatments. Or they may enjoy Ayurvedic-inspired massages, beauty treatments and then they may relax in the Relaxation Room. The fitness area (850 square meters in an elegant pavilion in the park of the hotel) includes a gym, sauna, Turkish bath, squash court. ART & BEAUTÈ The entire massage is done with the special porcelain spoons. The body creams and the oils have anti-oxidant and nourishing effect. Duration 1 hour and a half. Most requested treatments GLAMOUR Visage and body. It begins with a salt and sugar body peeling with fragrances selected by the client. The long massage is done with lukewarm oil in order to exploit its nourishing properties. Half an hour is dedicated to the face, neck and shoulders with a brightening mask, massage and nourishing cream. Duration 1 hour and a half. LOMI LOMI Hawaiian massage relieving from tensions, stiffness and stress. It stimulates the lymphatic system and ameliorates increases the metabolism eliminating toxins. The main feature of the massage, done with vanilla fragrance oil, is the usage of the forearm. A particular attention is also reserved to the back. Duration 1 hour. HOT STONES Inspired by an old ritual of the American Indians. It has a draining and purifying effect of cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, muscular sustems. Suffused lighting, intense perfume of essences and music to involve all 5 senses. The massage, first with hands then with the stones, begins after spreading hot oil: the stones slide on the body as a hot cloud giving a new deep sensation of wellness. Duration 1 hour and a half. Treatments in the TWIN cabinn A cabin with soft lights for treatments to be shared with a partner or a friend; A new idea for a birthday present or an anniversary gift. CANDLE & CHAMPAGNE is a relaxing and detoxing massage for couples. At the end, strawberries and a flute of champagne. Duration 1 hour and a half (1 hour massage). MY OXY CAVIAR DELUXE is an anti-age treatment for the face, hands and feet with a caviar extract (a strong anti-oxidant and it regenerates the cellular metabolism), collagen and karité butter (nourishing and hydrating). Duration 2 hours. BEAUTY DAY Dedicated to people looking for dedicating a little space for themselves. Facial deep cleanse, depurative and mineralizing body treatment with scrub, weed detoxing compress, massage. The treatments are alternated with the use of the gym, sauna, steam room and pool. The hotel has 3 main conference rooms. The Royal Hall on the first floor can accommodate up to 300 people. The Sala Breva, at the ground floor, may accommodate 130. BELLAGIO: THE PEARL OF LAKE COMO The position of Bellagio is truly exceptional, even among the thousands of enchanting Italian locations. Its temperate climate has for many years favoured vacations and business meetings even during the low season.
