Through a variety of experiences, individuals have developed self-reliance and a sense of responsibility to others while enjoying the natural world. Our dedicated, professional camp staff is committed to offering you an unforgettable week of summer adventures in a fun, safe environment. What is Adventures for L.I.F.E.? Learning to handle your own kayak, fixing your meal over an open fire, hooking that prized fish and hitting the archery target are some of the things waiting for you at MCFI s Adventures for L.I.F.E. Camp. Through outdoor Leisure, Inclusion, Fun and Experiences, you will enjoy a week of sharing exciting and challenging activities with new friends in a camp setting.

NEW this year! OFF THE GRID Camp Weeks (includes a Wednesday-Friday overnight!!) *Must be a previous day or resident camper with Adventures for LIFE for at least 2 years Adventures for LIFE has a new day camp program this year that includes overnight camping! We will spend a week filled with outdoor adventures at Muskego County Park. Weekly activities include: l Hiking along mapped trails l Swimming at the beach l Kayaking l Archery l Geocaching l Fishing l Nature exploration and much more! We will also spend a day off-site at a high challenge ropes course which will include activities such as: rock climbing, the giant swing or zip lining! On Wednesday and Thursday night we will tent camp under the stars and learn how to cook meals over an open fire! Join us for this new experience today! Camp fees: Registration fee: $25 per session Camp fee: $375 per session (not including registration fee) Sessions: July 9-13 August 27-31 * Sack lunches are required Monday-Wednesday, meals will then be provided (Wednesday-Friday). ** Transportation leaves from Milwaukee at 8:30am and returns at 4:30pm (with the exception of Wednesday-Friday will return on Friday at 4:30pm). Pick-up and drops-off at Goerke s Corners will be available at the times of 9am pick-up and 4pm drop-off for an additional fee.

(Note: If you have not received confirmation, your registration is not complete.) l Send all completed forms and fee balances no later than Friday, May 25, 2018. (If you are using a thirdparty vendor, authorization must be received by Friday, May 25 as well no exceptions.) Refund Policy Refunds for cancellations, less the $25 non-refundable deposit, are only available until Thursday, May 31, 2018. Refunds after the cancellation deadline will be given ONLY in cases of documented medical emergencies. The $25 deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. SPACE IS LIMITED. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Day Camps (Ages 12 to 30) Adventures for L.I.F.E. is offering six weeks of Day Camp at Blue Lotus Farm and Retreat Center near Newburg, Wisconsin. Your days will be filled with fun and exciting camping adventures you ll remember for a lifetime! Daily transportation from our Main Campus - 2020 West Wells St. - is included in the camp fee. Transportation leaves Milwaukee at 8:30 a.m. and returns at 4:30 p.m. each day. Pick-ups and drop-offs at Goerke s Corners, Ryan Road Park n Rides and select spots along I-43 North will be provided daily for an additional fee. * Especially for young people with autism. A full range of camp activities are included. This camp week features sensory integration and a special focus on socialization. Day Camp Dates (now six weeks!) Frequently Asked Questions Day Camps (Ages 8 to 12) What about my camper s medical or dietary needs? Adventures for L.I.F.E. camps can accommodate most campers medical or dietary needs. We distribute medication as needed during camp times. With advance notice, we can make alternative food options available to those who need them. (Day campers bring their own lunches each day.) Just make the proper indication on your camper s health form, and be sure to bring enough medication or dietary supplements for your camper s entire stay at camp. Contact us in advance if you have any questions or concerns. Who are the staff? Many of the summer camp staff are college graduates with extensive experience working with people who live with a variety of disabilities. All camp staff have a love of the outdoors and a passion for sharing it with others. Camp staff are required to pass criminal background checks and participate in an intensive training program. What is the staff-to-camper ratio? For most activities, the staff to camper ratio is 1 to 4. A 1 to 3 ratio is often provided for water activities. What happens if a camper is sick or injured? Camp staff are certified in First Aid and CPR. Caregivers will be contacted in case of injury or illness. Can my camper contact me? During camp, parents/caregivers are welcome to contact the camp phone at any time with questions or concerns.
