In 1869 she was married to Riley Andrus. They had seven children, of whom the following survive: Alva Andrus of Gaston, Orvai Andrus of Monmouth, Mrs. Eloise Miller of Gaston, Nelson Andrus of Roseburg, Mrs. J. A. Wakefield of Dayton and Mrs.

Myrtle Thomas of Portland. Mrs. Andrus had been a member of the Christian church for more than 40 years. They came to Dayton from Roseburg in 1905. Funeral services were held at the Christian church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock conducted by the Rev. L. G. Parks. Burial was in the I. O. O. F. cemetery." [The Telephone Register, McMinnville, Oregon, Friday, July 27, 1928] "Riley Andrus--On April 3, 1920, Riley Andrus of Dayton departed this life at the age of 90 years and 29 days. He had lived in the county 16 years. He was a native of NY. He is survived by his wife and three sons and three daughters. Burial was on April 5, with services conducted at the residence by Rev. E.
