Anabezi Luxury Tented Camp - Fact Sheet Introduction Anabezi is a 24 bed camp located on the banks of the Zambezi River at the Lower end of the Lower Zambezi National Park (LZNP) in Zambia. The name Anabezi is derived from the camp being situated on the Zambezi River and the many Ana Trees or Winter Thorns (Faidherbia albida) that surround the camp. These winter thorns drop corn yellow pods which attract a wide variety of animals to the area including many elephants, a welcome sight in the camp. Anabezi Camp comprises of 12 luxury spacious tents on raised timber platforms at the edge of a ridge providing magnificent views of both the Zambezi River and Mushika River flood plain. The plain hosts year-round grazing and offers spectacular diverse game viewing from the comfort of your tent! Anabezi consists of two common areas, the Zambezi Deck and the Mushika Deck, giving large families or groups the opportunity to occupy either of the decks exclusively and will be privately staffed should the guests request exclusivity. All luxury tents are equal in size and decor. Both the Zambezi and the Mushika Decks boast a pool, viewing deck, bar and dining area.

Accommodation Accommodation consists of large luxurious tents, approximately 1000 sq ft in size, positioned on a raised wooden deck. The tents are generously spaced along the Zambezi River bank and the Mushika flood plain, allowing the game to wonder around the camp freely. Each of the luxury tents boasts: indoor and outdoor bathroom; a spacious sitting area; two teak double beds or one king-size deluxe bed placed within one well designed mosquito net; glass sliding doors opening onto a private deck; a plunge pool set into the expansive wood deck with a stunning view; 24 hour battery power and plentiful hot and cold filtered water. Cuisine The Anabezi cuisine is a fusion of European and African cuisines. Fresh continental breakfasts are served, followed by a generous buffet lunch. Guests may indulge in an afternoon high tea of scrumptious treats and fresh fruits. Dinner is a three course plated affair served with some of South Africa s finest wines. Activities The camp is well equipped with the best game viewing vehicles and boats allowing us to ensure much comfort for our guests and cater for their individual needs. Guests will be guided by very knowledgeable and experienced guides. Up to two activities per day are included in the rate and comprise the following: Game Drives with a maximum of 4 guests per vehicle; Night drive; Walking Safaris into the Kulefu woodlands and surrounding areas; Canoeing Safaris along the banks of the Zambezi River; Boating and fishing on the Zambezi River; Bird Watching - approximately 500 species of birds in the Lower Zambezi National Park.

Getting There GPS: S 15 36' 37.8" E 029 46' 11.5" There are many different ways to get to the Anabezi Camp. International arrivals into Zambia can be made directly to Lusaka and Livingstone Airports. Both Lusaka and Livingstone have daily flights from Johannesburg International (South Africa). Lusaka Kenneth Kaunda International Airport is also serviced by a number of International Carriers including Emirates, KLM, Kenya Airways and Ethiopian Airlines to mention a few. To/From Lusaka: During the season, Proflight offers daily scheduled 30 minute flights into the Lower Zambezi. The aircraft lands at Jeki airstrip, guests then continue their journey by vehicle through the game park for approximately one and a half hours, or a 40 minute drive directly to camp. Alternatively charters are available into the nearby Kulefu airstrip situated approximately 15 minutes from the camp. To/From Livingstone: A direct charter will take about 2 hours to the nearby Kulefu airstrip, however daily connections are available on Proflight via Lusaka to Jeki airstrip. Please refer to the Map at the end of this document. Booking Policy It is the responsibility of the agent to secure all payments necessary to facilitate the booking. Reservations - A 30% deposit is required for a booking to be confirmed. A provisional booking will only be held for 30 days. Anabezi Camp reserves the right to cancel the booking should we not receive the deposit within 30 days. Cancellations - Cancellations between 60 and 90 days prior to arrival will incur a charge of 30% of the booking value. Cancellations 60 days prior to arrival incur a charge of 100% of the invoice value. Deposits received will be offset against payments due. Payments we do not take payments for accommodation at the camp and therefore all payments for accommodation must be made prior to arrival. Travel & Medical Insurance Fully comprehensive travel insurance is recommended, covering for: personal effects, personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses, as well as

cancellation and curtailment - as bookings will be subject to cancellation penalties as detailed above. Visa & Passports Visa requirements should be checked prior to departure. Some nationalities require a visa, these are obtainable upon entry to Zambia. Children Anabezi Camp does not allow children under the age of 12 years unless they are part of a private group booking (min 8). Weather December, January, February and March - rainy season and Anabezi is closed. April and May - most of the rain has faded away, leaving a landscape that is green and lush, with clear skies and pleasantly mild temperatures. June, July and August - the nights are generally much cooler, but the days are clear and warm. Make sure you bring warm clothes to wrap up in the early mornings and evenings, as some nights get very cold. September and October - the temperatures climb and it can get very hot in October. However, the game viewing is spectacular as the animals concentrate around the limited water sources and along the river. November is variable, it can be hot and dry like October, or, you may be lucky enough to experience the first spectacular storms of the season.
