Sivec Marble History Sivec has built the region of south-east Europe from 3rd century B.C. on till 5th century A.D. Historian Aurilius Remnateus states in 149 B.C., in his trietise Itinerarium Burdigalense the enormous mining activity in the region, after it became a roman province Whiteness and big quantities of SIVEC marble amazed Roman citizens Hugh amounts were earned very fast with unique projects ordered by wealthy aristocrats, senate members, famous sculptors and wealthy aristocrats (theaters, arenas, palaces etc.) The two biggest projects built almost exclusively by Sivec White are "HERAKLEA" and "STOBI". 5
