Buy before you board for cheaper fares... Thanks for picking up our fares guide. We re continuing to encourage our customers to buy their s before they board the bus with our Beat the Rise campaign. Our Bristol and Bath Inner Zone day s are the latest ones where it is now cheaper to buy before you board. The easiest way to get the cheapest fares is to use our free mobile app. 1 in 5 of all s purchased are now through the app, and a recent customer survey of over 1,500 passengers showed 96% would recommend it to colleagues or friends. Our vision for First Bus in the West of England is to move towards cashless bus services like other major cities in the UK, and this is another major step to achieving it. By adopting the app, not only will passengers save money, but it speeds up boarding times. This ultimately makes for a more punctual bus service or indeed a faster journey. James Freeman Managing Director, First West of England 96% of users would recommend s 6x faster than paying by cash Contents How do I buy a using s? 5 Your types 6 Bath Inner Zone fares and s 8 Bristol Inner Zone fares and s 11 Bath & Bristol Outer Zone fares and s 14 Weston-super-Mare Inner Zone fares and s 17 Bath & Bristol Inner & Outer Zones map 18 Weston-super-Mare Inner & Outer Zone map 21 Weston-super-Mare Outer Zone fares and s 22 West of England fares and s 25 West of England Plus s 27 West of England Zone map 28 How is your single fare calculated? 29 Combined bus and rail s 30 Multi-operator s 31 Ticket exclusions/exceptions 32 Photo ID application form 33 Contact us 36 2 3

Your types Single s The cost of your single is based on the route distance you travel within your chosen area. Your fare is determined by how many sections of route you travel through, as defined by the chart on page 29. This excludes flat fare zones. Flat fares A flat fare structure is in place in Bath Inner Zone and Weston-super-Mare Inner Zone. This means that wherever you travel in that zone, the price of a single journey will be the same. Day and season s If you're making more than one journey on a particular day, or are a regular traveller these s can offer you great savings. Just decide which area you want to travel in and how long you need your to last. Then once you have your you can use it as much as you like in your chosen period of time, making as many journeys as you need to. Our day s are valid until 4.29am the following morning so are perfect for a day and night out! Group Ticket With this unlimited day up to five customers of any age can travel together. Tickets can be bought after 9.30am Monday to Friday and all day Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. And as with all our day s, it is valid until 4.29am in the morning. Children under 5 travel free Unlimited children under five can travel for free with each fare-paying adult/student/16-21 year old or concessionary pass holder. Up to 50% discount for children over 5 Children aged 5-15 can get up to 50% discount on all s across the West of England. We would advise all older children to get a (free) First Photo ID pass as proof of age. If the driver can t be sure how old they are, and they are not able to produce one of these, they may be required to pay a full adult fare, so it s in their interests to have one. An application form can be found on page 33. Buy your child's on your phone Child s can also now be bought on one mobile phone and transferred to another with s. For example if a parent and child both have mobile phones with the app on, the parent can buy a child on their phone using their credit/debit card and then send it to the child's phone for them to use. Up to 30% discount for 16-21 year olds and students Young people (16-21) and students (of any age if in full time education) can get up to 30% discount on all s if they have a First Photo ID pass or their student photo ID. An application form for a free First Photo ID pass can be found on page 33. 6 7
