IRONMAN 70.3 Xiamen, Sunday 13 th November 2016 IRONMAN 70.3 Xiamen will be held along the picturesque Island Ring Road of Xiamen Island and the coastal avenues on the mainland. These areas reflect the beauty of the city, itself a prime seaside tourist destination. The transition area will be located at the square of Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center, a well equipped facility with an exhibition space of 100,000 square meters. In total, 30 slots to the 2017 IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawai i, will be allocated to finishers of IRONMAN 70.3 Hefei and IRONMAN 70.3 Xiamen. There will also be 50 age group qualifying slots for the 2017 IRONMAN World Championship taking place in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA.

Itinerary for Xiamen One-Day Tour: In the morning, you ll be picked up at your hotel, then transfer to take ferry to Gulangyu Islet, which is regarded as garden on the sea of China. One Day tour D. World Culture Heritage Tour Hakka Earth Building In the morning or afternoon, meet up at the appointed spot, transfer to Nanjing. Tour the world cultural heritage Hakka Buildings, Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster. With a history of more than 100 years, the Tulou cluster shows the masterpiece of architecture of the Hakka people. Then proceed to visit Yuchang Lou, which is more than 600 years old. It is also the world s only hakka building with the pillars leaning to different directions inside. Then proceed to visit the Taxia village. With a stream along the whole area, the Taxia village shows you a great picture of nature and local life. E. Ancient Maritime Silk Road Tour In the morning or afternoon, meet up at the appointed spot, transfer to Quanzhou. As the starting point of the ancient maritime silk road, Quanzhou is also known as the Museum of World s Religions. The famous traveler, Marco Polo used to pay a visit to this city and describe it as the biggest port of the world. Proceed to visit the thousand-year-old temple Kaiyuan Temple. The East and West Pagodas are the two symbol of the whole city. Then tour the Maritime Historical Museum. There you can learn a lot about the history of Quanzhou Port and a variety of boats made in Quanzhou. In the end, transfer back to Xiamen, the appointed spot. F. The capital of China porcelain tour ----Dehua One Day Tour In the morning or afternoon, meet up at the appointed spot, transfer to Dehua, which is the capital of China porcelain. Visit the Yueji Porcelain Mill, one of the three biggest mills of manufacturing ceramic in the Qing Dynasty of China. After lunch, transfer to visit the Ceramic Museum, which is the first ceramic museum with complete information.
