YFU FRANCE SUMMER PROGRAM
YFU France Summer Program 15 days from June 29th to July 15th 2018 Description > Focus on: French history and gastronomy. > Accommodation with a French host family in Tours, located in the Loire Valley (1h30 from Paris airport by train). Lunches provided by host families. > 8 students minimum (20 max) with no requirement in French. > 18h of French classes with a teacher specialized in French as a Second Language () + 2 glasses workshops > Visits of Tours and its surroundings (Amboise, Villandry and Chenonceaux castels, goat farm), recreations (petanque, gardening, swimming pool, cooking class), evening at the Guinguette (open-air café by the river) and free time for shopping! Some activities shared by French host siblings. > Mini-trip of 48h in Paris before departure! Visit of the basics: Notre-Dame de Paris, The Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe, boat trip on the Seine and on the last day: Bastille fireworks and July 14th parade in Paris. > A program coordinator and YFU volunteers full time to help and support students during their stay.
