Munich is the capital of Bavaria and a must-see for everyone who wants to get to know the South of Germany. There is no better place to experience the typical Bavarian flair and the warm character of Bavarians as this city. We want to see both the historic and the contemporary side of Munich with you. Furthermore, we will discover its regional culinary delights and the music scene together. Day 1: A guided tour awaits you including a visit to the old and new town hall, the National Theatre, the Viktualienmarkt, the Karlsplatz, the Isator and the Hofgarten. In the afternoon, there are multiple options to choose from you can explore the Englischer Garten, one of the biggest and most beautiful parks in Germany and observe real surfers in the heart of Munich, visit the Deutsches Museum and learn more about technique or admire the amazing cars of BMW at the BMW Factory. 2
Day 2 After breakfast, the participants will have the possibility to choose between two options: visit Dachau or the Allianz Arena. Dachau was the first continuously operated concentration camp in Germany for a period of 12 years where numerous victims of the German Nazi Regime were murdered. Now Dachau is a memorial site, to ensure that people will not forget about these crimes. The Allianz Arena is a huge soccer arena, where the best club in Germany, the FC Bayern München, plays its home matches. In the afternoon at 1.00 pm, we will depart from the central train station. Time to head to Vienna! 3
Vienna is the capital of Austria. The city can look back on an eventful past, which is why it offers interesting and beautiful impressions and a multitude of sights and cultural highlights. We will follow Queen Sissi and her contemporaries and have an exciting time in the city on the river Danube. Day 3 After checking in at our accommodations in Vienna, we will spend the rest of the evening taking a first look at the city: we will visit the historical city centre, castle Schönbrunn and taste an original Wiener Schnitzel at a restaurant. In the evening we will go to the festival Donauinselfest. Day 4 On our full day in Vienna, we will start with a guided tour to see the most famous sites like the Spanische Reitschule or the Hofburg and of course also the Hundertwasser-Haus. We will have lunch at a traditional Wiener Kaffeehaus, a must for every tourist. In the evening we will enjoy a concert at the State Opera House of Vienna
The capital of Hungary is on the UNESCO list of world heritage sites with two of its impressive sights: The banks of the Danube river and the Buda Castle, which is one of the most romantic parts of the city. The historical district is 800 years old, but the beautiful medieval monuments are perfectly preserved. The Danube separates the cosmopolitan city Budapest into two parts - the hilly Buda and the flat Pest. Important landmarks of the city are the Castle Hill with the former Royal Palace or the rocky Gellért Hill with the Statue of Liberty and the Citadel. The city is also famous for its spas that have a history of over 2000 years! Day 5 On Tuesday after breakfast in Vienna, we will continue our journey to Budapest. After our arrival, we will check in to our accommodations in the city centre. Afterwards, we will eat lunch together and walk around Budapest to take in all the wonderful sights and get a first impression of the places. There will be time afterwards to relax and prepare for the next days. In the evening we will enjoy an English theatre play at the National Theatre of Budapest.
Day 6 The second day, we will have a guided tour through the city centre, so you can experience the most beautiful and famous sights for yourself and get to know a lot about them. Of course, we will also go on a trip into the Jewish district and later head along the beautiful Danube on a pedal-boat. In the evening we will make a night walk through the brightly lit city centre of Budapest. Day 7 Today, our programme leads us to the Hungarian University with its faculty of comparative political science and law where we will enjoy a lecture about the history of the university and of the Hungarian state. Following the informative part of the day, we will use the afternoon for a small hiking trip into the gorgeous mountains of Buda.
In the Netherlands you will get to know the two biggest cities of the country: Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Rotterdam is the city of architecture in Holland and Europe s largest port, so we will have a fantastic skyline! Furthermore we will see Delft, a small, old and typical city near Rotterdam, before going to the capital, Amsterdam. Day 8 On the final day in Budapest, we will get up early in the morning and head to the airport to catch a flight to our next destination Rotterdam, Delft and Amsterdam! In Rotterdam you will get the possibility to go to the market De markthal to discover some culinary food, to walk over the 800m long Erasmus bridge over the Maas river, to catch a nice view from the Euromast tower and to walk through the old town Delfshaven. Nearby is the typical dutch city Delft. We will discover the glorious past of the city, while going for a walk along the canals, the town hall, the churches and courtyards.
Day 9 In Amsterdam we will look at the Royal Palace in the city centre, walk besides all the idyllic canals and we won t miss the Flower Market with the tulips. In the evening we will enjoy a cultural movie. Day 10 At the end of our Amsterdam-Tour, we will go on a boat trip along the Kanäle. You can enjoy an amazing panorama view across the whole city. On midday, we will spend some time at the Anne Frank House and learn more about Jews during World War II. In the afternoon we will take the bus and continue our journey to Brussels. 8
Brussels is the capital of Belgium and the headquarters of the European commission. A royal flair and historic buildings give the city a special atmosphere. Day 11 We will go on a guided city tour and see the most exciting spots and attractions in Brussels, which include the market Guildhouse, the Grand Place, the Atomium, the Mont des Arts, the Manneken Pis and the town hall. In the evening we will enjoy a concert at the famous Palais des Beaux-Arts. Day 12 After breakfast we will visit the European Quarter, take a look at the Plenarsaal, and get informed about European political structures and processes. Then we will eat some Belgian fries near the Place Eugène Flagey, before you will have some free time to explore the city on your own.
The capital of France is one of the most visited cities on earth. You can feel the special flair and the French way of life wherever you go. No matter if it is museums, exciting city districts, cultural events or the breathtaking historic architecture that captures your attention - Paris offers a lot to see and discover. Get ready to be enchanted by this romantic city. Day 13 After having breakfast together, we will take the train to Paris. Arriving there, we will climb the Eiffel Tower and enjoy the amazing view over the City of Love! Furthermore we will see Sacre Coeur, Moulin Rouge and Trocadero. In the evening we will enjoy a walk by nightlight and see the romantic lightening of Paris. Day 14 After breakfast, we will go on a sight seeing tour and visit all the well-known places such as the beautiful Notre Dame, Champs d Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and Montmartre. There is so much to see in this incredible city! Of course you have to see the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper at the Louvre.
Day 15 We will start our last day in Paris with a typical Parisian breakfast in one of its various small romantic cafés. Afterwards, we will make a trip to Père Lachaise and the Jewish Quarter is also planned for the day. In the afternoon, there are some options to choose from: you can either decide to visit the Musée d Orsay, the Musée Picasso or the Centre Georges Pompidou. On our last evening in Paris we will enjoy an opera at the Opéra national de Paris. Day 16 We will finally return to Germany, Frankfurt. Au revoir! In Frankfurt we will stay in an accommodation for one night. Then we have to say good bye after this incredible trip together
