Cardada Cimetta: Take the cable car up from Orselina for spectacular views of the River Maggia delta and Monte Rosa. Or, in winter, try a snowshoeing excursion in the same area. The Adventure Park at Gordola has suspended walkways, cables and platforms strung among the trees, a fun challenge for the whole family. Through authentic Italian cities passing Colmegna and Luino you will have the chance for an aperitif break with a breath taking view at the Restaurant Verbano. Simply stop at the Piazza of Stresa and take one of the small boats to the Island Isola di Pescatori you won t regret it! Continuing this Mediterranean journey to Cannobio where you may enjoy a stroll along the lake on the Piazza. From Cannobio it is a short trip back home, crossing the border you will reach the hotel within 30 minutes.
