Growth through Innovation is the theme for this year s conference. Consumers are faced with a seemingly endless assortment to choose from and that is only from what appears on the retailers shelves. Many more products do not even make it that far. As Distributors we survive and prosper by generating profitable sales growth through working with suppliers and brand owners to provide products that consumers can believe in, that meet their needs and offer good value. We will look at what consumers and customers find to be good innovation, particularly as consumers grow more and more demanding. How can we as distributors contribute to good innovation in our markets? Two very successful innovations, Ella s Kitchen baby food and Oatly Oat drinks will share their innovation journeys with us and there is much to learn from their experiences. Both companies have chosen the Distributor model and will present their perspective. ESMA Conventions offer much more than the working conference. There is the opportunity to visit interesting retail formats, network, meet old and new friends and also relax and enjoy the wonderful city of Oslo a vibrant modern city sitting in a fjord surrounded by forests and hills. SATURDAY 6TH SEPTEMBER Day activities: EXPLORE THE OSLOFJORD You will have the opportunity to be both inside and outside today, so bring a warm (waterproof) jacket and good walking shoes. There are opportunities to be more active and less active depending on your wishes! 10:00 Leave hotel (please meet 5 minutes early in reception) 11:00 Boatride from Rådhusbrygge 3 (Norway Yacht Charter) 12:45 Lunch at Lille Herbern 15:00 Bus back to hotel Evening activities: 17:30 Leave hotel for dinner (please meet 5 minutes early in reception) 18:00 Fram Museum Address: Bygdøynesvn 36, frammuseum.no Fram ( Forward ) is a ship that was used in expeditions of the Arctic and Antarctic regions by the explorers Fridtjof Nansen, and Roald Amundsen between 1893 and 1912. It was designed and built by the Norwegian shipwright Colin Archer for Fridtjof Nansen s 1893 Arctic expedition.
