coralexpeditions Embark on a journey with Coral Expeditions to the place time forgot; through Papua New Guinea. Staying true to our name, these voyages are genuine expeditions, taking you to rarely visited islands and communities scattered throughout untouched wilderness areas. Immerse yourself in the wild and rugged scenery of Papua New Guinea, with its mighty rivers and volcanic mountains that take you away from the complexities of modern times. Visit remote villages rich in culture and meet with the people who have maintained their traditional way of life for generations. Enjoy an authentic expedition from the comforts of our flagship vessel, Coral Discoverer, with her shallow draught and manoeuvring capabilities allowing us to reach places larger ships cannot. With only 72 guests, there are no queues, long waits or assigned seating. Join us aboard Coral Discoverer and experience the diversity and unique destinations both Papua New Guinea and the Spice Islands and Raja Ampat have to offer. FOOD & WINE With a maximum of just 72 guests, our chefs have the creative freedom to prepare small batch meals from scratch using locally sourced ingredients. Curated by our resident wine expert, our bar features artisanal spirits and a range of Australian and New Zealand wines. Coffee, tea and soft drinks are available all day at no extra cost, along with house wine and beer provided during lunch and dinner service. We are able to handle dietary preferences and allergies with one week s advance notice. They will also host onboard presentations and briefings. Guided snorkelling tours are also available, and our qualified Dive Instructor invites you to take part in a complimentary scuba skills session and offers novices and certified divers optional diving over the magnificent coral gardens throughout this region.
