DESCRIPTION This service bulletin provides parts and instructions to incorporate a revision to the Pilot's Operating Handbook TKS Ice Protection System Supplement and to remove and replace the TKS ice warning placard with a new TKS ice warning placard. The new ice warning placard is printed with text that agrees with the new Pilot's Operating Handbook TKS Ice Protection System Supplement. COMPLIANCE MANDATORY. This service bulletin must be accomplished at the next 200-hour or 12-month (annual-type) inspection. ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS 1. (Refer to Figure 1.) Install the 2605084-3 Ice Warning Placard. A. Remove the 2605070-10 Ice Warning Placard, if installed, from the left instrument panel. If the 2605070-10 Ice Warning Placard has been installed at an alternate location, remove it at that location. B. With isopropyl alcohol or equivalent, clean the surface of the area where the 2605070-10 Ice Warning Placard was installed and wipe the area with a lint-free cloth. C. Removetheprotectivebackingandinstallthe2605084-3IceWarningPlacardinthesameposition where the 2605070-10 Ice Warning Placard was installed. 2. Incorporate the applicable POH TKS Ice Protection System Supplement from the MATERIAL INFORMATION Section of this bulletin. 3.
