How to reach the property: Strada Statale 340, 25 - Valsolda (Como) Italy DIRECTIONS FROM MILANO MALPENSA AIRPORT Exit the airport and follow signs to A8 MILANO. After 10km, follow the green signs for MILANO. You will pass by the following exits: Busto Arsizio, Castellanza & Legnano. EXIT at signs for A9 Como After 20 km you pass through a pay toll at Como Centro. Do NOT exit at Como CENTRO or the next exit for Monte Olimpino. BUT DO EXIT AT THE LAGO di COMO. ARRIVING FROM MILANO LINATE AIRPORT Exit the airport and follow the road towards MILANO. After approx. 1500m, you will see two bridges(these are the motorway overhead). Following the signs closely, take the motorway to VENEZIA. Stay on this Motorway and drive for approx. 7 km, you will see the exit for CASCINA GOBBA do NOT exit here but do take the next one exiting towards TORINO / COMO / VARESE. Continue on this motorway for 5km and drive through a Pay Toll - immediately after the Toll, turn right towards TORINO. Drive on this motorway (pass by the exit for CORMANO, then another exit approx. 12 km after). Finally exit the road towards A8, A9 Varese / Como. After 5 km you pass through another Pay Toll (approx. EU 1.80), drive for a further 3 km and exit the motorway towards A9 Como After 20 km you pass through another Pay Toll at Como Centro. Do NOT exit at Como Centro or the next exit for Monte Olimpino. BUT DO EXIT AT THE LAGO di COMO. DIRECTIONS FROM BERGAMO AIRPORT Exit the airport and follow the GREENS SIGNS for the MOTORWAY. Then take the motorway/autostrada to Milan (green signpost A4). You will need to pick up a ticket at the toll-station before going onto the motorway. After 35 km you reach the toll-station of MILANO, you give them the ticket you got in Bergamo, pay a couple of Euros or give them your credit card and you carry on for approx. another 12 km. Then take the exit for A8, A9 Varese / Como. After 5 km you will come to another toll-station and pay approx. EU 1.80. Continue straight on for another 3 km and exit the motorway at A9 Como After 20 km you pay once again at a toll-station at Como Sud, but do not exit for Como here. Continue and also pass the exit for Monte Olimpino. Take the next EXIT FOR LAGO di COMO.
From Como follow the directions to Menaggio / Porlezza. You will be driving around 67 minutes until you reach the town of VALSOLDA. Valsolda FROM LUGANO: Villa Lugano Lakefront is 11 kilometers about 21 minutes from Lugano following the SS340 Via San Mamete lake road.
FROM MENAGGIO: Villa Lugano Lakefront is 21 kilometers about 32 minutes by car from Menaggio thru SS340. FROM LUGANO: driving thru SS GANDRIA to SS340 SAN MAMETE / CRESSOGNO towns, past this newly opened tunnel slow down as you approach the church.
FROM LUGANO: shown is the church in Frazione San Mamete, turn right and enter the gate at the back of the church FROM MENAGGIO: OSTERIA LA LANTERNA.driving past the town of PORLEZZA, just about the town of CIMA, you will see a restaurant called OSTERIA LA LANTERNA on your right side, about 30 meters from here turn LEFT and drive inside the parking space of the villa at the back of the church.
..shown is the church of San Mamete, slow down and be ready to turn LEFT on the gate at the back of the church. main gate shown, park on the space past the garage, DO NOT BLOCK THE GARAGE of the neighbors leave garage door free all the time the villa is below the parking space, go down the steps and walk towards direction below the parking space, you will see right away small gate with a postbox on the right side and keybox installed on the lower left side the villa is the detached building on the LEFT side of the building shown named CASA SOLE E LAGO PARK HERE ON THE OPEN SPACE DO NOT BLOCK THE GARAGE
get the keys from the keybox MASTER KEYLOCK which is installed by the wall on the LEFT side as shown..open the keybox using the code given in the first page of this document. KEYBOX CODE: 0214 after getting the keys walk towards the main door shown by the pointed arrow down, 10 meters past the metal gate shown WELCOME. ENJOY YOU STAY!!!
STEPS: KEYBOX PROCEDURE 1. Please check in the arrival instructions above the details and location of the keys. 2. The keybox is as shown below. 3. Key in the number code of the keybox, the keybox code is given in the first page of the arrival instructions. 4. After putting the number, in the left side of the numbers you will see a black little lever. Pull the lever down to release the gray cover. (please take note that sometimes it is quite difficult to pull the lever down). 5. The keybox would then open as shown, and you can get the keys from inside. IMPORTANT: IF YOU ARE GETTING THE KEYS FROM THE HAPPYHOLIDAYHOMES OFFICE KEYBOX, PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK THAT THE KEYS YOU ARE GETTING ARE TAGGED WITH THE PROPERTY NAME. OTHERWISE, YOU WILL NEED TO GET THE KEYS FROM THE BLACK POSTBOX IN THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE OFFICE. YOU CAN OPEN THE POSTBOX USING THE KEYS TAKEN FROM THE KEYBOX. PLEASE RETURN THE OFFICE KEYBOX AFTER GETTING THE KEYS. CHECK-OUT CHECK LIST Dear Guests, On behalf of everyone at Happy Holiday Homes & Lake Como Homes Ltd, we would like to thank you for staying with one of our holiday property. Before your departure, we kindly ask our guest to do a short check-list for the property to have everything in order before your departure. CHECK OUT TIME: before 10.00 H (Corresponding fees will be applied if you would check out after 10.00h) HELP CONSERVE MOTHER EARTH!!! BE ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY. Please do the ff: Put all rubbish/garbage in the corresponding bins area. Please do not leave any rubbish inside the property especially any items that will be spoiled. Additional cleaning fees will be applied if this will not be done. Please turn OFF all the electrical appliance except the fridge. Check all the cooker hob, and oven etc. if it is all turned OFF. Turn OFF the central heating. Please check the USER MANUAL on how to do it. (applies only in the cold season) Close all the windows and doors and its shutters. Guest may be liable if the windows/shutters will be damage by strong winds because it was not properly closed. Take off all the bed linens and towels and arrange them in one area in the bathroom. Please arrange in one area all unused towels. Check all your personal belongings if you have packed everything in your luggage. Please wash up all the used kitchen utensils either through the dishwasher or manually. All of the apartment's property should be returned inside the property. (I.e. If you have taken out some sun-loungers, tables, etc in the common area). KEYS. Please remember to leave all the keys where you have retrieved them from. HOW TO GET TO THE OFFICE: Via IV Novembre, 35/39 22017, Menaggio (Como) Please feel free to visit us in our HAPPY HOLIDAY HOMES HOLIDAY PROPERTY SOLUTIONS Office in Menaggio. We are open Mondays to Saturdays from 9.00 am to 19.00 pm. By driving: From Como, follow the direction to Menaggio (SS340), drive along that road for about 45 minutes until you will reach Menaggio town, on the right side you will see Grand Hotel Menaggio, at the traffic lights turn right towards the Town Centre. The office is just 10 meters after the traffic light, on the right side of the road in front of a bank. By public transportation: Take the train going to Como. Descend on the last station (Lake Como). Near the station you will find a bus terminal. Take the bus going to Menaggio. Descend on the last bus stop which is the Town centre of Menaggio. Take a walk back in the way your bus has gone. The office is just 5 minutes walk from there in the left side of the road and in front of a bank.
