December 23: A morning departure to Dover provides plenty of time for our ferry crossing to Calais and journey to Belgium to arrive in plenty of time to settle into our hotel and explore beautiful Bruges. December 24: Christmas Eve is a free day to explore the sights of Bruges, visit Market Square and the historic guildhalls, churches and market buildings. There is also an opportunity to attend Midnight Mass at the Holy Lady Church. December 25: After a leisurely breakfast, relax ahead of the traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings. There may even be a visit from a gentleman in a red suit with something special for everyone. Afternoon and evening at leisure. December 26: Time to grasp your golden ticket and explore Willy Wonka s Chocolate Factory... well, maybe not, but after breakfast we make our way to the Choco-Storey Museum for a guided tour to learn the art of chocolate making. December 24: After the sights of Salzburg, we head into the mountains and the picturesque village of Hallstatt. Explore the area and enjoy a cruise on Lake Hallstatt (Hallstattersee). The Basilica also houses a museum which includes work by El Greco, Dali and Picasso. December 28: We bid farewell to our hosts and make our way back to France and our overnight hotel.
