Dinner at the hotel. You will board a schooner and embark on a relaxing cruise in the calm waters of the Sepetiba Bay. Stops will be made for swimming and a buffet lunch will be served on one of the islands, where there are palm-fringed tropical beaches. Open bar on board including caipirinha, water, soda and beer! Once in Argentina, tour takes a scenic highway up to the Parque Nacional de Iguazu (Argentinean Iguazu Park). Dinner at Casa Da Gamboa restaurant. Departure from the hotel for a full day tour to Praia do Forte - Ride along the Estrada do Côco to Praia do Forte, located 50 km north of Salvador. We will visit the northern seaboard with beautiful lagoons, palm fringed beaches, plateaus and preservation areas, passing by Arembepe, Guarajuba and Itacimirim beaches. Visit to the ruins of the historical Garcia D Avila Castle built in 1552. We will arrive at Praia do Forte - with its balmy waters protected by reefs and luxuriant vegetation. At Praia do Forte, we will have the opportunity to visit the Tamar Marine Turtle Project. Lunch at Pousada Cabanas de Aruá. Cruise will continue to the main island, Itaparica, where we will visit the St. Lawrence Fort that played an important role in the battle for the Independence of Bahia in 1823, and other important buildings dating from the 17th century. This tour will take passengers to a show house where a typical Bahian and international food buffet dinner will be served. Show will explain the origins of Bahian tradition like the Samba de Roda and the Maculelê, Samba de Caboclo, Candomblé and its Orixás with their unique dancing choreography and drum beats, Puxada de Rede (the pulling of the fishing net), Capoeira - a dance/fight, brought to Brazil by the Angola slaves and practiced all over the country and fast becoming practiced in other countries where Brazilian immigrants live. Day 5: Salvador Tour to Oceânica Avenue, Centenário Avenue and Otávio Mangabeira Soccer Stadium. The highlight of the tour is the visit to Senhor do Bonfim church, located on the sacred hill, which is considered to be the sanctum of Bahian faith for both religions: Catholicism and Candomblé. The tour will continue to Mont Serrat (17th/18th century fort and church) and a full panoramic view of the city of Salvador. We will pass by Boa Viagem church, Feira de São Joaquim (open market), commercial district, and finally, we will stop at Mercado Modelo: a large market featuring a diversity of Bahia craftsmanship and cuisine delicacies. Day 4: Natal Buggy tour to the North Beaches: This wonderful beach buggy tour (3 persons per buggy) destined for the north coast takes off along the Via Costeira (Coastal Avenue), Urban beaches and includes a trip across the Potengy River on a ferry boat. The buggy driver will show the Fort of Reis Magos and Redinha beach heading to the famous Genipabu sand dunes. After experiencing an exciting ride the tour continues on to Muriú beach visiting 7 beaches and 3 fresh water lagoons along the way. Natal Day 5: Natal Early departure to the south coast. This tour will follow the sun route to the Pirangi beach, passing by the Berreira do Inferno a brazilian aerospace base. We will continue the tour to the biggest cashew fruit tree in the world, that occupies na area of 8.400m². After that we will board in one of the boats of the Nadauê Marine to go to the south coast and to relax in a 50 minutes bath in the natural pools of Pirangi. Lunch at a local restaurant. Late afternoon return to the hotel. Buffet dinner at the hotel. Day 6: Natal Full day excursion to Barra de Cunhaú and lunch at Punto Máximo Restaurant. This tour will follow the BR101 railway to the city of Canguaretama (a typical countryside city of the Northeast reagion). Barra de Cunhaú is a pleasant site where the visitors can relax in its beautiful scenary and calm beaches. It incluyes a 2 hours boat tour Cunhaú River and lunch based on seafood.
