Sports Outlook for the Week The Dallas Mavericks will have one home game this week on Thursday April 2 nd. The Dallas Stars will also have one home game this week on Friday April 3 rd. Please be advised that there could be an increase in general aviation air traffic due to these games. Want to get involved? The Love Field Environmental Advisory Committee (LFEAC) meets quarterly. DALLAS LOVE FIELD COMMUNITY WEEKLY UPDATE March 28 April 3, 2015 2 Construction Updates *UPDATE* Construction on Taxiway C continues and requires a lengthy portion to be closed along runway 13R/31L (Denton). This closure primarily affects arrivals in the south flow air traffic direction as it hinders arrivals on 13R/31L. Due to weather delays, construction will continue through April 2015. Please see the airport diagram on page 3 for more information. Runway Closures Scheduled Runway Closures for Routine Maintenance All closures will be coordinated through Airport Operations and will be permitted based on weather and operational impact. Runway 13R/31L (Denton) will be closed Sunday March 29th at 11:00pm until Monday March 30th at 5:30am for airfield maintenance and repainting. Runway 13L/31R will be closed Monday March 30th at 11:00pm until Tuesday March 31 st at 5:30am for airfield maintenance. Scheduled Taxiway Closures for Routine Maintenance Taxiway E will be closed on Friday March 27th for repainting of taxiway markings. Ongoing Airfield Closures The following taxiways will remain closed until further notice: Taxiway D closed lighted and barricaded between TWY D1 and RWY 13R/31L until Spring 2015. Taxiway C closed lighted and barricaded between TWY C3 and RWY 18/36 until Spring 2015. Taxiway C between C2 and D closed to aircraft with wingspan greater than 118ft; prior permission is required from Airport Operations. * Please see the airport diagram on the next page for locations of runways and taxiways.
