ARCHITECTURE Located in an historical building from the 19th century that originally belonged to the Marquis of Alhama, a title that was created in 1865 by Queen Isabel II. Before it was turned into an hotel, this historic building housed several large apartments not to mention a famous bookshop known as El Padrino whose façade and original letters have been preserved. Carlos Hernández-Carrillo, an architect with Estudio b76, and his team that specialises in work of this nature, was in charge of refurbishing the hotel.
