Vinyl Floors Pacific Domes offers a Heavy Duty vinyl floor that curves up the side wall in order to keep standing water out. For colder climates, we recommend an insulated floor, using Thinsulate* sandwiched between two layers of vinyl. Vinyl floors are available in many colors. Extra Doors The basic dome package comes with one door opening. Extra doors can be added. Custom door designs are also available. A flashing for venting your wood, pellet, masonry or gas stove can fit into any window frame. A pipe cap is provided. $350 $650 Our Solar Fans are an environmentally friendly ventilation solution. Each solar fan will exhaust up to 10,000 cubic feet of air and is easy to install. It also comes with a thermostatic switch that turns the fan on at 80 F and off at 70 F. Frame Upgrade: Our standard.9 tubing is adequate for normal conditions. In areas with heavy wind and snow loads, your local county building department may require a stronger steel tubing frame to pass permitting. Our domes have been used for crosscountry ski resorts where they were completely buried under snow. Winterizing Lite Liners: Our Lite liners are luminescent and allow solar passive heating. They are made with a fire retardant, water resistant, easy to clean, Oxford Nylon. They hang inside the frame and create a dead air space between the main cover and the liner, hiding the frame. All windows are duplicated for thermopane. Insulated Liners: Our insulated liner is made of 2 layers of a mildew/water resistant, easy to clean, fire retardant Oxford Nylon with an insulation material, Thinsulate, wedged between. They are easy to install and attach to the inside of the frame, keeping your dome temperatures comfortable. The Thinsulate has an R-value of 3, which is greatly increased by the space between the outer cover and the liner as well as the 2 layers of Oxford Nylon. Thermoshield Insulating Paint Thermoshield is a non-toxic, elastomeric paint that contains ceramic borosilicate microspheres, a technology used on the space shuttles by NASA. Because it is 99.98% reflective, it has up to an equivalent R-value of 22. When applied to your dome, it will reflect UV off your dome keeping it cooler in the summer as well as reflect your heat source back into the living space. Below amounts are recommended by the Thermoshield company although we have found effectivity using half these amounts. The prices below reflect $75 per gallon and do not include shipping and handling. Accessories Air Chairs Enjoy your dome floating in the comfort of a Pacific Dome air chair. Hung from any hub, they will support up to 350 pounds. The fabric will not fade or mildew with outdoor use. Frames (without cover) Many of our clients purchase frames to be used for plant arbors, art installations or for covering with permanent materials such as Crete, so we offer frames without our covers. Frame package includes: galvanized steel frame with hardware and small event anchor plates for staking to earth. Anchors can be upgraded to multi-purpose plates. Standard tubing is adequate except in areas with snow load or if permitting is required. Fabric Description Cover Fabric: Our covers are made of Sunshield fabric, a water proof vinyl coated polyester with a UV protective coating. Mildew, dirt and stains are easy to clean. It weighs 19 oz. per sq.yrd. and has a 12-20 year life expectancy. The Sunshield comes with a 5 year pro-rated warranty. Our fabrics are available in many colors. Window Fabric: Our windows are made of a high grade water proof, fire retardant marine vinyl. It is easy to clean and lasts up to 10 years. The marine vinyl comes with a 3 year warranty.
