Please note, that all charges will be applied in the local currency the Hungarian Forint at the exchange rate of the National Bank of Hungary on the day of the transaction. Impact of the foreign exchange rate might occur. If you have made a reservation for a twin/double/family room, you will be requested by the hotel during check- in to provide the name of all persons staying in the room for security reasons. DATES The ECTA Conference will take place from Thursday 29 June to Saturday 1 July 2017. ECTA Council and Committee Meetings will be held on Wednesday 28 June 2017. Please note that the Red Bull Air Race is taking place in Budapest between 1-2 July 2017. Unfortunately, the test flights and traffic restrictions might influence the ECTA Conference, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. OFFICIAL LANGUAGE The official language of the ECTA Conference is English. No simultaneous translation will be offered. SOCIAL EVENTS ECTA requests that during the entire period, (Wednesday 28 June to Saturday 1 July 2017) no other non- official Conference events should be arranged. REGISTRATION CANCELLATION Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing to the Conference Organizer at registration@ecta.org. At this stage in case of cancellation no refunds will be made. 2

LUNCH VENUES - 29 JUNE & 30 JUNE Lunch on 28 June is by invitation only for Council and Committee Members. Lunches on 29 & 30 June will take place in two locations in the InterContinental Hotel namely the Corso Restaurant & Terrace with a seated lunch, located on the ground floor and the Conference Exhibition Area with a standing buffet, located on the first floor. When registering you will be provided with a ticket indicating the location of your lunches on these two days. We will endeavour to provide participants with one standing and one seated lunch ticket. We apologize for any inconvenience which the standing lunch may cause. Thursday 29 June Hungarian Evening at the Lázár Equestrian Park Located 35 km, approx. 45- minute drive from Budapest in the picturesque Domony Valley. Lázár Equestrian Park Fenyő Street 47. 2182 Domonyvölgy Dress code: Casual. Due to uneven surfaces, high heels are not recommended. A cardigan or light jacket might be useful as the weather can be chilly in the valley after sunset. Programme of the Hungarian Evening: 18:45-19:20 Continuous bus departures from the Conference Venue 19:30-20:30 Bus arrivals to the Equestrian Park, welcome reception 20:30-22:00 Seated buffet dinner 22:00-22:30 Horse show, after the show the first coach will leave the venue 22:30-23:30 Dessert buffet and open bar, coach shuttles back to the Conference Venue Friday 30 June Gala Dinner at the Railway History Park Themed evening of the 1920s and 1930s in a unique event venue with cocktail reception and luxurious seated dinner. The atmosphere of the evening will take you back to the Great Gatsby era. Railway History Park Tatai Road 95. 1142 Budapest Dress code: Smart (black tie, suit/cocktail dress or black dress, 1920-30 theme), due to uneven surfaces reconsider wearing high heels. Please feel free to dress according to the theme. Programme of the Gala Evening: 19:15-19:45 Bus departure from the Conference Venue 19:45-20:45 Bus arrivals to the Railway History Park, welcome reception 20:45-23:45 Gala dinner with entertainment 23:45-02:00 After the dinner the party starts with live band and DJ, Bus shuttle services to the Conference Venue BUS SCHEDULE Please note that there is no bus transfer between the hotels and the conference venue as these are all within walking distance. Bus transfers/shuttles will be provided for the dinners on 29 and 30 June between InterContinental Budapest and the venues of the dinners. 5

When registering you will be provided with coloured cards only for the gala dinner and excursions which we kindly ask you to place on the table so that the waiters are aware of your dietary requirements. If you do not receive a card for the gala dinner or excursion lunches, this means that the menu does not interfere with your dietary requirements. Kindly note that we are unable to guarantee special menus if we are not informed in advance of the Conference. SPECIAL ASSISTANCE Please note that for those guests who have difficulties walking, a minivan shuttle service will be provided for the Welcome reception on 28 June. INSURANCE Participants are strongly advised to arrange personal travel insurance in case they have to cancel their participation at the conference. This insurance should cover conference registration fees, hotel accommodation as well as other risks associated with travel. TRAVEL TO BUDAPEST Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport is situated approx. 45 minutes from the City Centre which can be reached by: Airport Shuttle Minibus MiniBUD is the official airport shuttle service provider for Budapest Airport. They provide comfortable, fast and favourable transfer solutions for passengers wishing to travel from the airport to the districts of Budapest, and from the city to the airport. You can check the fares at https://www.minibud.hu/en Taxi The official Taxi Company of Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport is the Főtaxi which operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Reservations can be made in person at the Főtaxi Desk located at the exits at Terminals 2A and 2B. At the taxi rank in front of the stands, taxis are parking continuously waiting for passengers. Please be aware of exposing yourself at risk by using non- regulated taxi service providers soliciting at the terminal buildings! Therefore, we advise going up to the Főtaxi Desk (if you exit from the airport, on the left side). A ride to the city centre should typically cost around 6500 HUF (22 EUR) depending on traffic conditions. For participants from other countries a valid Passport is required. Participants from some countries may require a Visa for entry to Hungary. Please check with your local Hungarian Consulate or Embassy. 9

TIME DIFFERENCE UTC/GMT +1hour CLIMATE The climate of Budapest is continental. In June it is usually nice and warm with an average temperature of 23-28 degrees Celsius during the daytime, while the average temperature during the night might range between 14-20 degrees Celsius. Rainy days may occur; however, rain is not usual in this season. CURRENCY The official currency is the Hungarian Forint (HUF). The exchange rates applied in Budapest banks, official exchange offices and hotels may vary. 1 EURO = approx. 310 HUF ELECTRICITY Standard voltage is 220-240V AC, 50 Hz. Electrical appliances from the US require a transformer and an adaptor. Plugs are two- pin and adaptors are available at any hardware store. BANKS Most banks are open Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:00 and on Fridays until 14:00. Only a few branches are open on Saturday morning. There are 24- hour ATM cash dispensers throughout the city, most of which accept international bank cards. CREDIT CARDS Most hotels, restaurants and shops accept major credit cards such as American Express, VISA, MasterCard if the emblem at the entrance is displayed. SMOKING Hungary has a strict non- smoking policy and smoking is prohibited inside public places. Smoking is only allowed outdoors at designated places. 10
