At the first stop, uncover the history of May Square, (Plaza de Mayo) where some of the most important historical events took place. See its surroundings, the most emblematic buildings, and learn all about them. Afterwards, head to May Avenue (Avenida de Mayo) and admire the oldest residential neighbourhood in Buenos Aires: San Telmo to walk along its cobble-stoned streets and check out its antiques shops and picturesque buildings. Continue on to the colourful neighbourhood of La Boca. Here, explore Caminito Street and enjoy the dancers and souvenir shops. Also, see the Boca Juniors soccer stadium. Contemplate the modernisation of the city when you visit Madero Port and its exclusive docks. This part of town is filled with excellent restaurants and large office buildings. Pass through the Retiro neighbourhood and then see Palermo and its most exclusive residential area. Finally, arrive at Recoleta where you will visit that wonderful neighbourhood and all it s history including the cemetery where Eva Perón (Evita) is buried. Overnight: Broadway Hotel & Suites, Buenos Aires Day 3: Buenos Aires Begin 14 Night Celebrity Cruises Cape Horn & Antarctica Cruise (B,D) Today transfer to the Cruise Port of Buenos Aires to being the bucket list experience of a lifetime with Celebrity Cruises onboard the Celebrity Infinity ship. Cruise departs at 5:00pm Day 4: At Sea (B,L,D) Day 5: At Sea (B,L,D) Day 6: At Sea (B,L,D) Day 7: Ushuaia, Argentina: 9:00am to 9:00pm (B,L,D) No city on the planet has a more southerly latitude. As a result, the sun shines 18 hours a day in summer, providing ample opportunity to view the mix of glaciers, forests and sea, all framed by Mount Martial to the west and Mounts Olivia and Cinco Hermanos to the east. Day 8: Cape Horn, Chile Scenic Cruising: 6:00am to 8:00am (B,L,D) Tierra del Fuego, Land of Fire, is the most isolated place in the Americas, and Cape Horn is its southernmost point. These craggy cliffs and windswept shores are stark, rugged beauty personified, creating a dramatic setting for the collision between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Day 9: Schollart Channel, Antarctica Scenic Cruising: 11:00am to 1:00pm (B,L,D) You are certain to leave with amazing memories, and pictures, as you cruise through Schollart Channel near Antarctica. Take in the mesmerising sights of massive ice flows, humpback whales,

THE ITINERARY waddling penguins, leopard seals and more in their natural, and somewhat extreme, element. - Paradise Bay, Antarctica Scenic Cruising: 2:00pm to 4:00pm: This name aptly reflects the stunning beauty you ll find here, just as the clear waters beautifully reflect the spectacular mountains, such as Rojas Peak, Bryde Peak, and the Petzvol Glacier. Within these waters you may see Minke whales feeding and Gentoo penguins curiously observing from the rocky shores. - Gerlache Straight, South America Scenic Cruising: 5:00pm to 7:00pm: A number of geographical anomalies around this channel make these waters among the most plankton-rich in the world. You re likely to see a profusion of whales feeding in the rich ecosystem, which is a sight you ll not soon forget. Day 10: Elephant Island, Antarctica Scenic Cruising: 2:00pm to 6:00pm (B,L,D) This tiny island in the Weddell Sea plays a role in one of seafaring history s most legendary exploits. When the brave crew of the Endurance, led by intrepid explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, was trapped in the ice during a 1914 polar expedition, they took refuge on this island until help arrived. Day 11: At Sea (B,L,D) Day 12: Port Stanley, Falkland Islands: 8:00am to 5:00pm (B,L,D) Commune with the roughly 2,000 people who call this remote former whaling outpost home. As you hike through the rocky, windswept landscape you may observe a few of the island s flightless residents including Magellan penguins burrowing underground, and rockhoppers carefully observing you from outcroppings. Day 13: At Sea (B,L,D) Day 14: Puerto Madryn, Argentina: 7:00am to 4:30pm (B,L,D) This deep water port was founded in 1865 by Welsh immigrants. Extending out into the Atlantic from Puerto Madryn is the Península Valdés, a wildlife sanctuary where vast numbers of sea elephants, whales and penguins far outnumber the few human visitors who make it out this far. Day 15: At Sea (B,L,D) Day 16: Montevideo, Uruguay: 9:00am to 4:30pm (B,L,D) Montevideo is a thoroughly modern city with a rich artistic tradition, the reach of the rural estancias is all around you. Delicious steaks are the specialty of the house in virtually every restaurant.
