A Message from our President IT S SUMMER TIME! Welcome to July s news letter! What do we do when there is no snow? How many times do you hear that one? Well the answer is everything!! Inside this edition you will see how we keep busy, have fun, and lots of it! Your new Summer Social Mark has been busy planning the summer season. Please read on to find information for bike rides, picnics, card games, Cleveland Orchestra, learn to water ski and windsurfing just to name a few. White Water rafting has returned and who wants to go to the 11 th Annual Metro Cup Golf Outing? If you love to ride your bike, why not sign up for the Pan Ohio Hope Ride, then you can pedal to the point, and then ride at Kelly s Island, and if you can still sit in the saddle, sign up for the bike and pub crawl! After all that biking you will need to relax at Houseboat and water ski the smooth waters and float endlessly in the sun because you are too tired from dancing all night. What s not to like! We are always looking for fun things to do. Contact our Summer Social Chair Mark, if you have something fun we might like to do next. Mark is also looking for someone to run a Halloween Party are you interested? Don t forget the 1 st Tuesday, of June-September, is our informal meetings and the location changes each month, look inside for more details or watch for your Internet Quickie Messages or see the web site. We are also working on the final version of our updated membership directory. If you have moved or changed any of your contact information or would like to just check to see if it s correct; send an email to our new membership chair Cynthia, at membership@fagowees.org she can check it prior to publication which will be very soon. Come play with the FaGowees, IT S SUMMER TIME! Sharon July 2012

Congratulation to the Fagowee of the Month. Our July 2012 Fagowee of the Month is a long time member of the club and has been an active member as long as I can remember. He is always willing to help you out if needed, and he always has a great outlook and laugh to go with it. On our old canoe trips he had the best campsite set up every year. His campsite had a shower, pool, lighting and all the comforts of home. The term roughing it has a different meaning to him. He has also run various trips over the years and helped out on many trips. He joins us on our out-west trips, and does it by driving to them. He never takes the easy way like flying to get there. Seems to me that he enjoys doing it the hard way! He has a passion for the club, and has just returned to the Board to help out again as a fellow Trustee. Take time and tell him that he is appreciated. Our deserving July 2012 Fagowee of the Month is Terry K. Join the Movement! Be a part of the 2012 Team Fagowees on the MS 150 bicycle fundraiser, Pedal to the Point! One-day riders and their bikes will be safely transported back to Brunswick at no cost. Two day riders can choose 150 or 175 miles.
