1. MEETING DATES AND VENUE 1.1. The 19 th General Session of The African-Asian Rural Development Organization Conference (AARDO) and 69 th and 70 th Sessions of Executive Committee will be held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from Monday, 26 February to Sunday 4 March 2018. Online Registration All delegates are requested to register online at https://aardo19.rurallink.gov.my from 11 January 2018. Online registration will be closed on 18 February 2018. An acknowledgement email will be sent automatically to delegates after the online registration has been completed. Any enquiries regarding the registration, including technical support, or if you have missed the online registration deadline, please contact the secretariat at register@rurallink.gov.my. An acknowledgement letter is required for online registration for foreign media. In this regard, foreign media agency which has been assigned for the 19 th AARDO Conference must obtain an acknowledgement letter from the respective ministries of AARDO member countries. In the event where flight s information has not been completed, the details must be updated in the system no later than 18 February 2018. 2

2.2. Official Pass Delegates are advised to pick up their official pass and meeting kit at the Registration Desk. Delegates will need to provide proof of identity when collecting the official pass, such as passport or any other suitable photo identification to the registration desk. The official pass should be worn at all times and will be required for entry to all venues and meeting areas. All delegates are reminded that the official pass issued is solely for the use of the bearer to whom it is issued and it should not be transferred or given to any person to use. 2.3. One (1) representative from each AARDO Executive Committee member countries and Executive Committee President, as per Annex I, and AARDO Secretary-General will be provided with accommodation at the Grand Hyatt Hotel from 25 February to 5 March 2018. 3

3.2. Breakfast is included with the accommodation provided. Personal expenses such as local and international telephone calls, laundry, mini bar, etc. will be charged to your personal account. 3.3. Accommodation for other delegates is not provided. Delegates are advised to make their own accommodation arrangement, either at the Grand Hyatt Hotel or other nearby hotels as listed. 3.4. Booking can be made directly with the hotels. Special rates are available for bookings made with the Grand Hyatt Hotel, the Impiana Hotel, the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the Traders Hotel. 3.5. 4. TRANSPORTATION 4.1. General Information One (1) Minister from each AARDO member countries, AARDO President and one (1) representative from AARDO Associate Member will be provided with a chauffeur-driven car from 28 February to 4 March 2018. One (1) representative from each AARDO Executive Committee member countries and Executive Committee President, as per Annex I, and AARDO Secretary-General will be provided with a chauffeur-driven car from 25 February to 5 March 2018. 4.2. Airport Shuttle will be provided for other delegates on the day of arrival (from the airport to the listed hotel) and on the day of departure (from the listed hotel to the airport). Please bring a copy of your registration confirmation for boarding. 4.3. Alternatively, delegates can travel to their respective hotel via taxi, at own expense, from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA 2). Taxi counter is located at: 5. FIELD TRIP 4.3.1. KLIA Airport Limousines Service: International Arrival Hall, Main Terminal Building (just after Customs, before the public arrival area). Metered Taxi: Level 1 and 3, Main Terminal Building. 4.3.2. KLIA 2 Transportation Hub located at the Level 1 of the Gateway@klia2 building. 5.1. The field trip visit will take place at Kampung Pachitan, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan on 3 March 2018. The distance is approximately 86 km and it will take about 1 hour and 40 minutes. 5.2. Transport will be provided for all delegates from the Grand Hyatt Hotel to the field trip location. Kindly confirm your attendance using the online registration form. 5.3. The objective of the field trip is to introduce the Homestay Programme where it provides additional income for the locals and spurs other related economic activities. Through this programme, delegates will have the opportunity to stay with friendly host families and experience the local food, culture and natural lifestyle. 5.4. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes for the field trip. 13

The room will be open from 8.00 am to 11.00 pm daily from 26 February 2018 until 4 March 2018. On 25 February 2018, the room will be open from 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm. 6.3. Yellow Fever Vaccinations A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required from all visitors or delegates (Malaysians and Foreigners) coming from or going to/ through yellow fever endemic countries (As stated in International Health Regulations 2005 and Prevention and Control of Infectious Disease Act 1988). A vaccination certificate against Yellow Fever disease will be valid if the vaccination is taken at least 10 days prior to the date of arrival to Malaysia.
