Once registration is complete, your personal Print@home Ticket will be posted online for you so that you can print it out yourself. 4. Please bring your printed Print@home Ticket to the fair. Quick and easy to reach. From around the world. The New Munich Trade Fair Centre can be reached using public transport, the airport shuttle or by car. Visitors who are in possession of a Print@home Ticket, an admission voucher or an admission ticket can use it to travel to and from the trade-fair centre free of charge. This offer applies to all services provided by the Munich Transport and Tariff Association (MVV) in - cluding underground, suburban-train, streetcar and bus service. Please use public transport whenever possible. Getting there with public transport Underground: The U2 departs for the trade-fair centre from Munich s central train station every 3 to 5 minutes. The trip takes 20 minutes. From the Munich airport to the fair Airport shuttle: The shuttle bus provides non-stop service from Munich s international airport (Terminal 1 and Terminal 2) to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre (North Entrance) for EUR 7.50 (one way) or EUR 12.50 (round trip). It departs every 30 minutes during the fair. Airport suburban trains: Take the S1 to Feldmoching, and from there take the U2 to the trade-fair centre (Messegelände). Then take the S8 to Ostbahnhof, the U5 to Innsbrucker Ring and, from there, the U2 to the trade-fair centre. 16 Taxi: If you prefer to take a taxi to the fair, the flat-rate fare from the airport to the trade-fair centre is EUR 51.
Driving to the fair A large-scale event like bauma always leads to lots of traffic in and around Munich. Avoid the bottlenecks and the stress and take advantage of remote parking when you drive to the fair. You will also be more relaxed when you arrive at bauma 2010. Tip! Free remote parking Take advantage of our free remote parking areas. From there you can use your Print@home Ticket, admission voucher or admission ticket to take the shuttle bus or underground to the trade-fair centre free of charge. Signs and an electronic traffic-guidance system along the A99 and A94 motorways and in the city of Munich will guide you to the New Munich Trade Fair Centre and to our free parking areas.
