To assess the key cities in the region on various aspects that have direct impact on the quality of life of its residents. Doha is also rated highest in terms of competitive salaries (%) while Dubai (3%) and Abu Dhabi (3%) follow. Doha (%), Manama (%) and Muscat (3%) are the top cities in terms of benefits for working parents. In terms of affordable housing, Muscat (3%) and Manama (%) are the top cities. Muscat (0%), Manama (3%) and Sharjah (%) are rated best when it comes to reasonably priced day to day amenities. When it comes to termination rights, Muscat, Manama and Dubai share the topmost spot (2% each). Doha takes the top spot in terms of vacation allowances with 3% of them stating so. This is closely followed by Dubai (2%) and Abu Dhabi (0%). Low scores for parenthood allowances across all cities highest for Doha with % Just over half of Doha residents (0%) rated it positively making it the best city in terms of wage protection systems; Abu Dhabi and Sharjah follow (% and %, respectively). Abu Dhabi emerge as the best city in terms of health insurance and social security with about three quarters giving it a positive rating (2%).
