Cause of the alarm activation was due to construction dust setting off the smoke detector/system. The alarm was silenced and reset by the contractor on scene. -by-the-sea: Ambulance dispatched along with Cal Fire and a medic to Riata Road for a male in his 80s who suffered a mechanical fall with head and arm injuries. Patient transported to CHOMP Code 2. Valley: Victim called to report some suspicious activity on Esquiline Road. Valley: Victim reported that unknown suspect(s) smashed the window of his vehicle, entered and stole property located inside while it was parked near Garland Ranch Regional Park. area: High School staff reported four students in possession of tobacco and Vicodin. Students were cited and released.
