INTRODUCTION Welcome to the Gwynedd Homelessness Services Directory. This directory has been produced as part of Gwynedd Council s Homelessness Strategy Action Plan 2010-2013. It has been produced in partnership with the Gwynedd Homelessness Forum, and aims to provide a useful description of the services available locally, and information on how to access them. The directory will hopefully be an useful resource for agencies in signposting and accessing the most appropriate services for the clients. Tackling homelessness is not just about providing housing, although this is crucial. We need to make sure that people can access advice, health care, practical support and other services so that they are given the best possible chance of solving their problems and keeping their homes once they ve been housed. It is our aim to review this document on a quarterly basis, therefore if your agency / organisation is not already included, or if you wish to amend your entry within the directory, please e-mail HousingStrategicUnit@gwynedd.gov.uk We would also welcome any comments on how the directory could be improved in order that we can ensure that it is a useful and relevant resource. Please note that the majority of the information contained within this directory has been provided by the services themselves. Whilst Gwynedd Council make every effort to ensure that the information is correct and up to date, agencies do move or change their remit regularly, and for these reasons, we cannot completely guarantee the accuracy of every entry.
