CME Open Theatre College of Military Engineering (CME) is a premier technical and tactical training institution of the Indian Army Corps of Engineers of the Indian Army: this includes Combat Engineers, Military Engineering Service, Border Roads Organisation and Survey. The college it is situated at Dapodi on NH 4, adjacent to the Khadki cantonment, north of the Pune city. If you re bored of going to the regular multiplexes you can go to the CME centre to watch movies in an excellent open theatre which premiers all the recent and latest movies at vary nominal ticket prices Movies are aired on a weekly basis: Saturdays and Sundays The ticket costs range from Rs.20/- to Rs.70/- The ambience that you get in the CME centre is just like every Defence Township: Excellent! K We at SIMS should partake in this as an individual responsibility and support the infrastructure cell. I appreciate the evening snacks initiative and students should help them continue with this by not wasting food. Sonal Pandey, Sr. Editor Thanks to the infra cell, the mess has come up with an initiative to serve evening snacks along with tea/coffee and we couldn t be happier!. Since the EPL season has started, we also get to see the football matches in the common room. It is a different feeling altogether. Nivedita Vashisht (2013-15). Kudos to the mess team for introducing the evening snacks which has been a great success in feeding the turmoil in the bellies of the students after the long hectic schedule of the day! Plus a great refuge since we are broke throughout the month. Kalpana Singh (2013-15) The room cleaning service at SIMS is awesome and helps in maintaining the room spic and span all the time. Apart from this the guards are cheerful, friendly and always helpful. Rupin Verma (2013-15) The new infrastructure team is very helpful and approachable. They are always there to lend a helping hand and their patience is commendable. There is regular and sufficient water supply so rarely we face any problem regarding water and electricity.
