Despiteusingcommercialdatabase,annualreports,balancesheetsandfilingover100Rightto Informationapplications,informationabout61projectswereunavailable.Hencethedataprovidedin thisreportisthatof125projects,withtotalcapacityof2,42,968mw. These125projectsarespreadin15states.Amongthe125,57arepublicsectorprojectsandprivate corporationsrun68. Thefiguresprovidedinthisreportarenotabsolute.Itistheminimumtheseprojectshavesecuredfrom differentfinancialinstitutions.lackoftransparencyandhidingbehindtheveiloffiduciaryrelationship betweenthebankandtheclient(thatisthereasoncitedwhilerejectingalotofrtiapplicationsby banks)preventsanypublicaccessorscrutinyoflending. Thereporthasused2014currencyexchangerateswhileconvertingthemintoIndianRupees.
