COCKPIT USB POWER INTEGRATION

POWER SHORTAGE IN COCKPIT With today s technology, the struggle for airlines to keep up with EFB and other battery powered electronics to stay charged during flight creates a power charging shortage in the cockpit. Airlines need a solution that has the capacity to power up all electronic devices pilots may need on board: EFB, tablets, and other FAA approved T-PED devices.

THE SOLUTION U.S. Technical is proposing a solution for airlines with the integration of a light weight, low cost, and FAA approved USB charging port in the cockpit for their fleet! All USBs are supported by existing aircraft power system allowing the pilot and crew usage to charge EFB, tablets, and other FAA approved T-PED devices.

DUAL USB POWER Self-contained Dual USB Charging Unit is a modern addition to any cockpit and interior cabin. Each USB port is designed to supply the electric current needed to charge any standard or high-power device with a USB interface. The Dual USB Charging Port needs only access to VDC from the aircraft and protects itself and the charging device from short-circuit, power surges and over-current potential. Output Power: 2.1 amps per port Input Voltage: 10 32 VDC Output Voltage: 5 VDC ± 0.25 per port Part Numbers: 6430102-4 Input Voltage 10 32 VDC Input Current 24 W max; 1.7 amps at 14 VDC; 0.85 amps at 28 VDC Charge one or two products simultaneously at full power Short-circuit, over-current, and over-temperature protection Panel or cabin mount FAA TSO-C71 certified; EASA ETSO C71 certified; RTCA DO-160G qualified Proven System! INTEGRATION

ENGINEERING ENGINEERING: Installation /Cable Routing Cable Assembly/Detail Drawing Wiring Diagram Engineering Installation Instructions FAA DER 8110-3 approval in support of Major Alteration, FAA Repair Station 337 Release STC (optional): FAA STC can be obtained, if requested. ON SITE SUPPORT (optional): U.S. Technical can also support the Installation (prototype) of the first aircraft. Daily engineering rate along with travel cost will be invoiced.

PARTS INTEGRATION PARTS: U.S. Technical will provide all attaching hardware, wiring and cable harnesses applicable to install the USB power charging ports.

ON-SITE INSTALLATION On-site installation support by use of our strategic MRO partners (optional). This option can be reflected in a separate proposal. Travel, hotel accommodations, per diem is not quoted and will be revisited at a later time.

SCHEDULE FAA DER 8110-3 in support of a Repair Station, 337 release 10 (ten) business days for Engineering - upon issuance of P.O. and receipt of all applicable data. 10 (ten) business days for Parts - upon issuance of P.O. and receipt of all applicable data. Schedule is dependent on Customer. U.S. Technical will proactively strive to complete work with the most efficient and reliable expectancies. FAA STC: ODA STC: 7 to 10 months 3 to 4 months
