What is new on the T4A GPS Maps Traveller s Africa 17.05 T4A GPS Maps 17.05 comes preloaded on a micro SD card with standard adapter, ready for Plug & Navigate. This SD card can be used on most map capable Garmin units and has been tested with latest Nuvi models as well. This product is not compatible to igo in car navigation systems, Android or ios devices. For these platforms we have separate products. The SD card also contains installation files for PC and Mac users who want to install the maps on their computers for trip planning or for transferring maps to older Garmin units such as the 276c, 76csx, previous generation etrex, etc. The map growth is organic in nature. We processed 533 data submissions for version 17.05. These data submissions not only contribute more roads and POI s to the map, it also improves the quality of existing data by means of corrections. The overall road coverage has increased by 3.86% from 16.10. Map Coverage 1 160 975km of roads, detailed tourist coverage and fully navigable (3.85% increase from 16.10) 158 766 points of interest (1.28% up from 16.10)

Many street names are being corrected and we are also updating route numbers on main roads. We also addressed route calculation issues as reported by our users, most of which was associated with the large addition of city street data in South Africa. Our team continued their research in Western Africa to add major routes and towns and has increased the map coverage considerably in these regions. Tracks4Africa 17.05 Updates Burkina Faso major routes and attractions added. Ivory Coast roads updated.
