TERMS & CONDITIONS Rates are quoted per room per night *FIG TREE HOUSE - Rates are applicable for the house per night All rates quoted are subject to change, without prior notification, however rates quoted for confirmed bookings will be honoured. Tala Private Game Reserve reserves the right, without notice, to release any accommodation held where the required deposits or payments have not been received. We do not accept any cash on Tala Private Game Reserve, however all major debit and credit cards are welcome as well as bank transfers. Beverages are charged on consumption and must be settled in the Restaurant. It is strictly prohibited to bring your own beverage or food items into any conference or function venue on the property without prior agreement and the agreed corkage/ surcharge fee. The maximum speed limit in Tala is 35km per hour, any vehicles exceeding this limit or passengers leaving their vehicle will be escorted from the game reserve. Please note check in is after 14h00 and check out is by 10h00. INSURANCE We highly recommend that all guests have travel insurance & medical insurance cover for all unexpected incidents & to insure cancellation fees are covered. CHILD POLICY Children 0-2 years stay free of charge Children 3-12 years: 50%of the sharing adult rate, if sharing with adults Children 13 years and above, full adult rate It is not permissible for children under the age of 4 (four) years to join scheduled game drives. Babysitting facilities are available on 24 hour notice, price available on request. DEPOSIT POLICY Below policy applicable to direct bookings and agent / tour operator bookings 50% payment to confirm the booking and balance payable 30 days prior to arrival. Invoices are NETT & all bank charged are for the payee's account, not the establishment's account. Interest will be charged on all overdue accounts CANCELLATION POLICY Below policy applicable to direct bookings and agent / tour operator bookings Cancellation within 30 days, 100% cancellation applies. Cancellation more than 31 days, 50% cancelation policy. A provisional booking will be held for a maximum of 7 days thereafter we do require a 50%deposit to secure the booking

The Tala Restaurant, The Tala Boma and idube Conference Room are all located here making it the ideal venue for day conferences, special occasions and tour groups. Aloe Lodge enjoys an elevated view of the reserve that spans out over the grasslands, a favourite grazing area of the reserves antelope, giraffe and hippo. Ten comfortable furnished rooms with bathroom en-suite are positioned around the lodge s natural gardens which are kept trim by the resident family of warthogs MAHOGANY HOUSE (7) 5 x twin bedded rooms with either a bath or shower, aircon 2 x king bedded rooms with either a bath or shower, aircon Mahogany House is situated adjacent to Paperbark Lodge. The original old farmhouse has been carefully restored to maintain the essence of a bygone era. Six bedrooms with bathrooms en-suite lead on to a central lounge area and out onto a typical farmhouse veranda which looks onto the surrounding garden. The Rock Pool and the Mahogany Spa are just a step away and the Paperbark Restaurant is conveniently located around the corner. PAPERBARK LODGE (12) 3 x king bedded rooms with either a bath or shower, aircon 9 x twin bedded rooms with either a bath or shower, aircon Paperbark Lodge centres on the Old Farm Barn with the original door still in place. Beautifully restored, with a large fireplace, polished floors and fold back windows that allow for natural light and ventilation, this is the venue for all the lodge s meals. The room s décor is simple, yet dramatic, including wildlife paintings, shale walls and the clever use of wood. The lodge surrounds an open grass area with spectacular views to the west of the open plains of the reserve. The rock pool is within easy walking distance for a refreshing dip on a hot summer s day. The Mahogany Spa, next to the rock pool, is also conveniently located. The sumptuous premier suite features a spacious bathroom with ball-and-claw tub and four poster bed. FIGTREE HOUSE (1) 1 x king bedded room with bath only and aircon 4 x twin bedded rooms with bath and shower and aircon Figtree House is a fully serviced house for groups of up to ten. The homestead has an old-world farm house atmosphere and each room has direct access to the surrounding garden. A veranda off the main lounge overlooks the boma braai area with the rolling hills of Tala in the background. All five rooms have an en-suite bathroom, opening up to a communal open plan lounge with a bar. The large dining room tables are ideal for breakfast or dinner in the privacy of your own house.
