Teachers Instructions (1/2) s * s 3 [Teachers Instruction Extension] This lesson is useful for just about every level of English proficiency the difficulty of the listening tasks is easily adjusted by the dictation speed. The following sple dictation text assumes a low-intermediate level of students. And, of course, making a different Teachers Master sheet of your own allows for much easier or much more difficult listening practice. Read each line two, three, four or even five times until the students have been able to assemble all of the information. When done, ask them to read it back for confirmation. Section #1: 1) 60 times 14 divided by 42 plus 113 equals 133. 2) 380 divided by 19 plus 13 times 18 equals 594. 3) 226 minus 180 times 16 plus 44 equals 780. 4) 515 plus 63 minus 28 divided by 11 equals 50. 5) 19 times 32 divided by 76 plus 615 equals 623. 6) 740 divided by 37 minus 16 times 118 equals 472. 7) 50 plus 14 times 18 divided by 32 equals 36. 8) 720 minus 690 plus 30 times 15 equals 900.
