Activity Report with Photos from 12 to 25 April (North-East Japan Earthquake) We have been supporting educational institutions for the acceptance of Education Support new students, removing debris and preparing teaching materials. We cleaned up Otani Kindergarten located in Kesennuma in 17 April. In order to accept children as soon as possible, approximately 100 people including teachers, parents, firefighter and SVA stuff gathered for the activity. Kesennnuma, Miyagi Prefecture With the help of Education Committees of Miyagi Prefecture and Kesennuma City, we have prepared 19 kinds of school supplies for 1,764 students in 11 elementary schools in Sendai. Activity Report with Photos from 12 to 25 April (North-East Japan Earthquake) Wet feeding Since the demand of hot meal is still high, it is operated in many places. Many people have begun to suffer from illnesses due to severe circumstances in evacuation centres and whether change, so healthcare with proper diet is becoming more important. We have been operating wet feeding and goods distribution with local organisations for the people living in various areas such as Yamada, Rikuzentakada, Hirota, Tono, Ofunato and so on. Sorting photos Making an alliance with self-defense force and police involved in rubble removal, we distribute keepsakes such as photos and honourable certificates to people in affected areas. Photos and albums damaged by the tsunami are to be cleaned up carefully by voluntary staff. They display the photos in tents and the sufferers who find their own pictures take them. We are operating legal consultation for the victims in evacuation centres.
