DAY 1: DEPART (Wednesday) Overnight flight to Italy. DAY 2: ROME (Thursday) Benvenuto a Italia! Your Forum Tour Manager will greet you at the airport and will remain with your group for the length of your stay. Board your private motor coach to transfer to Rome. Check-in at your hotel and freshen up. While in Rome, travel as the Romans do - on foot and by metro! Your tour manager will take you for a walking tour through Rome. Your first stop will be a visit to the Pantheon at the Piazza della Rotonda, an ancient building perfectly preserved and converted into a church in the 7th century. Then, wander through some of the main streets and squares of Rome, and discover: La Piazza Navona, la Fontana di Trevi, la Piazza di Spagna, il Campo di Fiori, and la Bocca della Verita. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight accommodation in Rome. DAY 3: ROME (Friday) After breakfast at your hotel, meet your local guide and head to the Colosseum a masterpiece of classical architecture. Next, visit the remains of the Foro Romano (Roman Forum), the focal point of the Roman world and one of the greatest archaeological sites in the world today. In the afternoon, take a guided tour of the Vatican City. Visit the Musei Vaticani and view Raffael s amazing murals and see the Gallery of Tapestries. Finish off your tour with the Sistine Chapel and look up at Michelangelo s awe-inspiring mural. Next, head to Saint Peter s Basilica. Later in the afternoon, walk to the nearby Castel Sant Angelo if time permits. Dine at a local restaurant. Overnight accommodation in Rome. DAY 4: ROME FLORENCE (Saturday) After breakfast, board a train to Florence. Upon arrival, meet your local guide for a visit of the city. Walk to Ponte Vecchio and look at jewelry shops along the famous bridge. After lunch, see Florence s famous Cathedral: Il Duomo and Ghiberti s famous bronze doors of the Baptistery. Next, venture on to visit the Galleria Dell Accademia, and see Michelangelo s famous monumental figure of David. Visit the Loggia del Mercato Nuovo, well-known for its leather goods. Enjoy dinner with your group at a local restaurant. Overnight accommodation in Florence.
DAY 5: FLORENCE VERONA (Sunday) After an early breakfast, take a train and head to Verona. Meet your host family at the train station and spend the evening with them. DAY 6: EXCHANGE PROGRAM (Monday) The exchange program is organized between Hylton High School and their partner school in Italy. Please contact your group leader for more details regarding your exchange. DAY 7: DAY TRIP TO VENICE (Tuesday) After breakfast with your host family, meet your group at the train station and travel to Venice. While in Venice, you will use the Vaporetto ferry network to move around. Take a guided tour of the historic center of Venice. See la Piazza San Marco, il Palazzo Ducale, il Ponte die Zoospore, Ponte di Rialto, and visit the magnificent St. Mark s Basilica. Take the Vaporetto (ferry) to the Lido to enjoy views of the city. After, return to Verona to spend the evening with your host family. DAYS 8-10: EXCHANGE PROGRAM (Wednesday - Friday) The exchange program is organized between Hylton High School and their partner school in Italy. Please contact your group leader for more details regarding your exchange. DAY 11: RETURN (Saturday) Transfer to Verona airport for your return flight home. Your Forum Tour Manager will help you with your flight check-in and stay with your group until departure.

ENROLLMENT INSTRUCTIONS Enrolling for this trip is as easy as going to https://enrollment.forumlanguageexperience.com/tour/hylton-it2018/ The enrollment process will take you about 10-15 minutes. During, you will be asked to provide contact information, a valid passport number, and method of payment. If you do not have a passport yet, don t worry you will still be able to enroll. However, we advise you to apply for your passport as soon you finish enrolling for your trip. Forum Language Experience has purchased the Student Protection Plan from Travel Insured International on behalf of all participants. If you would like to purchase the optional Cancel For Any Reason benefit, you must choose it at the time of enrollment, and the additional fee MUST be included with your first trip deposit. The total cost for this upgrade is $30.38. After you have enrolled and your payment has been made, you will receive an email with a username and password to access your Traveler web account. Here, you will be able to make future payments, modify your personal information, and access documents related to your trip. As a reminder, the enrollment deadline for this trip is October 30th.
