W P -12-06 WP-12--05 Assistance in the enhancement of safety oversight framework for Civil Aviation Systems of Guinea Sierra Leone and Liberia 6 th and 7 th Board Meeting BM Ref Carry out a gap analysis of the safety oversight system of, Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone in areas of Flight Operations, Airworthiness and Aerodromes for the purpose identifying and addressing deficiencies therefrom. The list would include the expertise as relevant to the activities of the organisation. To populate BAGASOO ITS database with the training particulars of all CAA technical personnel. Based on information in the database, to produce a roster of fully qualified and sufficiently experienced National Inspectors available in the Region. W P 12 21 W P 12 20 Continuing Airworthiness of Aircraft Establishment of Runway Safety Programme To work with the NCAA in facilitating continuing aircraft airworthiness through the conduct of ramp inspections of foreign registered and domestic aircraft at Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport Establish a safety programme designed to reduce hazards and minimize risks associated with runway incursion /excursions at Nnmadi Azikiwe Airport Ramp inspection of domestic and foreign register aircraft to be conducted at least twice quarterly Formation of a runway safety team with specific objectives, terms of reference and modus operandi Establish a database using internationally recognised data collection and evaluation systems Enhanced safety of Aircraft operations to and from Abuja Airport On-demand Certification, Surveillance, and Airline Safety Audit BAGASOO coordinators together with CIS Inspectors will undertake missions to each Member State at the request of the Member State.
