(Commercial-Gas Station) Entry was gained into the store by breaking a hole in the back wall. The suspect(s) gained entry into the store by breaking a hole in the back wall. The suspect got access into the bathroom and a storage room. It appears the suspect did not get entry into the main store. At this time nothing appears to be missing. Home Invasion: Date/Time Address (block range) Method of Entry Description/Suspect Information From: 06/17/2015 1:00am To: 06/17/2015 3:00am 21000 Avon Ln. Side and rear door where opened. Victim had a fire at his residence and was in the process of having a company board up the windows. Victim had to leave his residence for a family matter and was gone from 1:00am- 3:00am. When victim returned he found his side and rear door open. Victim states several Electronic Items, Clothing, and an AC Condenser are missing from the residence. From: 06/16/2015 2:00pm To: 06/17/2015 2:30pm 20000 Greenview Rd. (Vacant Home) Entry was through unlocked bathroom window on rear of residence. Victim states that sometime between 2:00pm and the following day at 2:30pm someone got into the residence through an unlocked bathroom window. Once inside the residence suspect(s) took the furnace. Home is vacant at this time.

06/18/2015 8:58pm 26000 E. Carnegie Park (Apartments) No forced entry. Victim advises sometime between 06/16/2015 7:30pm and 06/18/2015 @ 6:30pm someone gained entry into apartment by unknown means and took several items. Victim advises that maintenance was recently at her apartment to fix her dishwasher. A neighbor states that two or so days ago he observed a U-Haul truck outside of his apartment and heard a lot of movement from above. From: 06/19/2015 7:30am To: 06/19/2015 5:00pm 17000 Magnolia Pkwy The rear storm door had been pried open and the interior door had been kicked in. Tips: Let trusted neighbors know if you are not going to be at home Be cautious about who you let in your home for service and repairs Contact the Southfield Police Crime Prevention Bureau for a free home security inspection (248) 796-5409 Victim advised that she left her home at approx. 7:30am secured it and activated the alarm system. Victim returned home at approx. 5:00pm and discovered that the rear door of the home had been forced open. It appears that suspect(s) may have been scared off. Nothing is missing from the residence.

There were two LFA s that also occurred in the area. Possibly related. On June 18, 2015 @ 5:13pm DPD notified our Department that they had recovered the vehicle. No further information at this time. Victim last saw the Cadillac parked in his complex on 06/16/2015 around 2:00am. Victim discovered the vehicle was gone when he returned to the parking lot around 4:00pm. At this time the vehicle hasn t been entered into lein as a stolen vehicle. Waiting for actual owner (brother) to verify that his brother was given permission to be in possession of vehicle and to enter vehicle.

(Apartments) 16000 W Nine Mile Rd (Apartments) Status S - Stolen Manufacturer JEEP Model 151099 A Color BLK - Black Vehicle Year 2003 Body Style State MI Description SUV Liberty Status R Recovered Stolen Manufacturer Pontiac Model Grand Prix Color RED - Red License Year 2015 Description Passenger vehicle Vehicle was in the parking lot and was stolen between 5:00am and 11:00am this date. Broken glass was found were the vehicle was parked. Officers responded to a check safety at location reference an earlier Domestic run. While in route dispatch notified Officers that the complainant in earlier Domestic run vehicle is in the parking lot at location and is reported as stolen out of Detroit. Officer s investigation revealed that the vehicle had been repossessed and the vehicle had been returned to the owner after owner made back payments. The owner had forgotten to notify DPD.

Victim states his vehicle was stolen out of his driveway on Saturday June 20, 2015 between 1:30am & 10:30am. No further information. Tips: Never leave your vehicle running unattended Park in areas where your vehicle is viewable if possible Use commercially available security devices

Victim advises sometime between 11:30pm and the following morning at 6:30am computer was taken from 2014 Ford Escape. Victim s daughter s vehicle, 2007 Silver Dodge Nitro was also attacked. Window was smashed out, vehicle was ransacked but nothing was taken. Victim states her purse was stolen out of her vehicle sometime between Sunday June 14, 2015@ 9:00pm & Monday June 15, 2015 @ 8:00am. Entry was gained through the unlocked front passenger door. No suspect information. 06/15/2015 8:23am 17000 Melrose St. (Corner of Rutland & Melrose) All Four Wheels & Tires Were Taken From 2014 Chevy Tahoe. Victim advises sometime between 11:00pm and the following morning at 8:00am someone took all four wheels & tires from his 2014 Chevy Tahoe. The suspect(s) disabled the motion activated security light directly over the attacked vehicle.

(Storage lot for dealership) 16000 W Nine Mile Rd. (Hospital) Head Phones were taken from 2015 Toyota Camry. Two Vehicles were attacked: 2014 Dodge Ram Nothing missing from vehicle. 2007 Chevy Avalanche 1-pr. of Sunglasses and a set of Golf Clubs were taken. All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from Five (5) 2015 Lincoln MKC s. Catalytic Converter was taken from 2004 Honda CRV. Victim stated vehicle was parked at Hotel over night from 2:00am- 8:40am. When victim came back out to his vehicle the right rear door window had been broken out, and the headphones had been taken. Officer responded to location on an unwanted subject. The subject was gone. Officer while on scene observed vehicle 2014 Dodge Ram P.U. with the right rear window broken out and glove box left open. Officer made contact with the owner of vehicle who stated he parked his truck around 5:00pm and it got broken into during the night. Nothing was noticed missing at this time. A second pickup truck was also broken into overnight. Window was broken out; sunglasses and a Golf Club Set were taken.. R/P from Dealership stated they just found 5 of their vehicles sitting up on pink landscaping blocks missing their wheels and tires. The vehicles are in their storage lot in the 28000 Block of Telegraph. Officer s observed a large hole cut in the fence at location. Victim advises that on Tuesday 05/16/2015 between 8:00am- 6:45pm someone cut the catalytic converter off of her 2004 Honda CRV.

Victim states a laptop computer was stolen out of the trunk of her vehicle sometime between Wednesday June 17, 2015@8:00pm & Thursday June 18, 2015@9:20am. Entry was gained through an unlocked door. No suspect information. Victim advises sometime between 10:00am- 11:00am someone gained entry into his 2000 Ford P.U. through an unsecured rear window. Victim s briefcase containing personal items and cash is missing.

From: 06/17/2015 12:00am To: 06/18/2015 9:00am 18000 Westhampton Fog Lights were taken from victims 2011 Chevy Impala. Victim advises sometime overnight between 12:00am- 9:00am someone took the fog lights from his 2011 Chevy Impala. 06/20/2015 5:04am 28000 Franklin Rd (Apartments) Attempted to take All Four Wheels & Tires from 2015 Ford Taurus. Victim advises at 5:04am when he was walking out to his car at his Apartment Complex he scared two subjects away that were attempting to take his Wheels & Tires from his 2015 Ford Taurus. Further inspection revealed that the suspects had removed all of the lug nuts from all four wheels but the tires were still on the vehicle. Suspect Descriptions: Both suspects were approximately 5'08" to 5'10". One had a black hoodie on, the other a gray hoodie. They both had blue jeans on. 06/21/2015 10:24am 25000 W Twelve Mile (Apartments) 1-Wheel & Tire was taken from 2000 Chevy Impala. Tips: Ensure your vehicle is locked at all times and valuables are out of sight. Thieves wait for the right time and will move quickly Even if playing sports at a park ensure your vehicle is locked Thin Teeth Height 5' 8" - 5' 10" Weight Attire Black hoodie and blue jeans Suspect#2 Last Name SUSPECT First Name UNKNOWN DOB (Age) Sex M Race UNKNOWN Build Thin Teeth Height 5' 8" - 5' 10" Weight Attire Gray hoodie and blue jeans At approximately 10:20am Officer was patrolling in the area of the 25000 Block of 12 Mile Rd. Officer observed a Black 2000 Chevrolet Impala missing one wheel & tire on the rear passenger side of the vehicle. The other 3 wheels & tires were present with the front passenger tire being flat. The vehicle was placed on a landscaping brick with no bolts or locks present. It is unknown when the wheel & tire was taken.

Victim was driving her vehicle in the right thru lane of Telegraph Rd and stopped for a (red) traffic light at Sargent St. Suspect approached her passenger side window on his bicycle, had his right hand under his blue windbreaker jacket. Victim believed suspect was armed with a handgun and was fearful that he had a gun. Suspect stated "give me everything in your wallet." Victim rolled down her window and gave suspect only debit cards; no money. Suspect left on his bicycle N/B Telegraph Rd. Suspect Description: B/M, light brown complexion, 6-0, 20 to 30 YOA, blue windbreaker jacket and riding unknown bicycle. Victim stated he parked his car in the parking lot of the 28000 Block of Telegraph Rd. Victim was getting out of the car when 2- B/M s got out of a Silver 2007 Dodge Charger. The vehicle was dirty and had aftermarket dual exhaust. The driver of the vehicle pulled out a gun, threatened victim with it and stated give me everything. Victim stated he gave the suspects his Cell Phone and Xbox. Suspects then fled N/B on Telegraph in the Silver

Victim described the gun as having a gray top and black bottom. The plate on the suspect vehicle was obtained by the victim and incident is under investigation.

Magnolia Association- 8 Mile Rd to 9 Mile Rd/ Evergreen Rd to S/B Northwestern Service Dr. Incidents this past week: Home Invasions: #1 21000 Block of Avon Ln. 06/17/2015 Occurred between 1:00am- 3:00am Vacant home from a recent fire. Several items were taken. #2 20000 Block of Greenview Rd. 06/16/2015-06/17/2015 Entry was through unlocked bathroom window on rear of residence. Occurred between 2:00pm and the following day at 2:30pm. Arrests by SPD Officers: Resist Obstruct/ Curfew Violation- 1- Arrest 06/15/2015 2:21am 29000 Block of Rambling Rd. Officers responded to Domestic Dispute between mom and her 15 year old son. The son fled the scene prior to Officers arrival. Officers did an area check for the son and located him on Southfield Rd. near Target. The juvenile fled from Officers into a nearby Apartment Complex. A short time later the 15 year old came back home. When Officers attempted to talk to the 15 year old he was belligerent, hostile and defiant toward officers and his mother. (Incorrigible) Officers contacted Children s Village Intake and they agreed to take the Juvenile for Obstruction, Curfew Violation and Incorrigibility. Obstruct P.O./ No License/ Warrant 1- Arrest 06/21/2015 12:02am Northwestern Hwy & W Twelve Mile Officer stopped vehicle for expired plates. The driver of the vehicle gave a false name because he had a warrant out of neighboring jurisdiction for Probation Violation. The driver was arrested for No License and Obstruction.

#3 17000 Block of Magnolia Pkwy 06/19/2015 Occurred between 7:30am- 5:00pm The rear storm door had been pried open and the interior door had been kicked in. It appears that the suspect(s) may have been scared off by alarm. Nothing was taken. Armed Robbery- 6- Arrests 06/06/2015 3:07am 26700 Central Park Blvd Apt #: 1421 (Hotel) Several victims that were staying at the Hotel were robbed and had their cell phones, credit cards and cash taken. Southfield Detectives working on the case made five arrests for the incident that occurred on June 6, 2015 at the Hotel. A sixth subject that was involved in the incident was also charged with Violating his Probation. Great job by everyone involved! Auto Theft #1 18000 Block of Westland Ave. 06/15/2015 1996 Plymouth Voyager was taken sometime between Midnight and 9:00am #2 18000 Block of Magnolia 06/20/2015 Victims Pontiac G6 was stolen out of the driveway sometime between 1:30am and 10:30am. OWI- 1- Arrest 06/16/2015 Berg Rd and 10 Mile Officer observed a vehicle diving erratically and stopped it to investigate. Upon completion of the investigation the driver was determined to be OWI. The diver was arrested for OWI II and DWLS.

Larceny From Vehicle: #1 06/15/2015 17000 Block of Cornell Rd. Occurred between 11:30pm- 6:30am 2- Vehicles Attacked: 2014 Ford Escape Suitcase with several items was taken. 2007 Dodge Nitro, window broken out, nothing taken. #2 06/15/2015 18000 Block of Westland Ave. Victims purse was taken from her 2014 Ford Fusion sometime between 9:00pm and the following morning at 8:00am #3 06/15/2015 17000 Block of Melrose St. (Corner of Rutland & Melrose) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2014 Chevy Tahoe sometime between 11:00pm- 8:00am. OWI- 1- Arrest 06/17/2015 Southfield Rd. / 9 Mile Rd Officer initiated a traffic stop for distracted driving (driving while face timing on cellphone). An OWI investigation was conducted and the driver was ultimately arrested for OWI. OWI- 1- Arrest 06/18/2015 Telegraph & Swanson Officer observed a vehicle travelling above the posted speed limit and stopped it. Upon speaking with the driver it appeared he may have been consuming intoxicating beverages. An OWI investigation was conducted and the driver was arrested for OWI. OWI- 1- Arrest 06/19/2015 Evergreen Rd. & Midway Officer came across a disabled vehicle at Evergreen and Midway with some apparent accident damage. The driver appeared to have been consuming intoxicating beverages and an OWI investigation was conducted. Upon completion of the investigation the driver was arrested for OWI.

#4 06/18/2015 18000 Block of Westhaven In-Dash Navigation System was taken from 2008 Chrysler 300 sometime between 5:00pm and the following morning at 9:15am. #5 06/17/2015 18000 Block of Westhampton Fog Lights were taken from victims 2011 Chevy Impala sometime between 12:00am- 9:00am. OWI II- 1- Arrest 06/20/2015 8 Mile Rd. / Beech Rd. Officer initiated a traffic stop for erratic driving. An OWI investigation was conducted and the driver was arrested for OWI 2 nd Offense.
