We ll talk about dining with stranger or sinner, about the gifts we have to feed our communities, the Lord s table and the abundance God gives. The Table is Set. The scene is familiar. Chairs are filled and conversations begin, while a group of people share a tasty meal together. The table is set for community, sharing, and listening. This summer, our community is ready for rich conversation. We ll talk about dining with stranger or sinner, about the gifts we have to feed our communities, the Lord s table and the abundance God gives. Amazing Summer Staff are preparing to bring wild games and adventures, lead a vital mission, and help campers use their gifts to feed people who hunger. These staff are passionate about changing the world and their hope is contagious! Campers will experience a unique community of believers called to love each member as their wacky self. They will build up friendships and leave for home with strengthened spirits. Along with campers' favorite camp programs, 2017 brings new opportunities to Explore, Grow, and Engage! New this summer, we re excited to offer a half week option for each age group! Join us, The Table is Set.

Good Earth Village Mission: Exploring God in Creation, Growing Faith in Community, Engaging the World as Followers of Christ

Our Mission, Beliefs, and Experiences What We Believe What Campers Experience We believe in the God who formed us, our neighbors and all of creation. In response, we teach and remind our campers that each one is a loved child of God. Our staff show our campers love and acceptance. They are our highest priority. We look for our neighbors in all places, knowing they also are created in the image of God. We give thanks for the beauty and diversity of creation, as we teach stewardship. Our campers play in the mud, splash in the creek, and hike through the hills and valleys, tangibly encountering creation. We believe in Jesus Christ who, being true God and true human, redeems us and meets us where we are. In response, we recognize nothing can separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ and we celebrate the gift of life given through Him. Our staff members practice grace and strive to model the way Jesus lived in the world. We share the stories of Scripture with campers stories of miracles, healing, and caring for the outcast. As we walk in our faith, we know that Jesus meets us where we are. We believe in the Holy Spirit who empowers us with spiritual gifts and connects believers together in community. In response, we use our gifts, individually and together, to make change for good in the world. Our staff enthusiastically encourages campers strengths and passions, and supports them as they learn and grow through new experiences. Campers actively lead worship opportunities, which allows them to build their gifts and to become leaders in the church. We take time for reflection and personal devotional time to hear what the Spirit is saying in our lives. Campers are embraced by a community of genuine people who bring out their own authenticity and create connection. Campers worship loudly with spirit and feel prayer in a new way. Their faith comes alive. Campers run and play all out, let loose, have fun and don't worry about who wins. On the edge of comfort and the unknown, campers experience awe, wonder and peace. Campers take on the spirit of openness by participating in new experiences and sharing with each other. Campers will confront real world needs with open-hearted service, modeled by young adult leaders. Relationships built on trust, mutual respect, and shared experiences become lifelong friendships.

F.A.Q. 1 Who are the Summer Staff? Coming from a variety of backgrounds, our staff s various gifts and interests create a dynamic and community-focused team. The safety and well-being of campers is our number-one priority and is the foundation for all of the relationship building and ministry that happens in this place which is why each of our staff complete a two-week intensive staff training to prepare for the summer. These bright young people could be a lot of places, but value this experience above it all. 2 3 What is Tier Pricing? Tier 3 represents the full cost of camp. In effort to keep camp affordable for all, Tier 2 and Tier 1 rates have been subsidized by Good Earth Village supporters and friends. Tier pricing is 100% choice! Select the tier that feels right for your family at this time. There are no qualifications or guidelines, everyone is eligible. Tier pricing is simply our way to keep camp affordable for the most kids possible. The tier you select is confidential, and in no way influences the experience your child receives. Our policy is to not turn away any potential camper because of financial need. Additional scholarship funds are available if needed. More Information: We know that there is a lot to consider before bringing your child to camp.
