Pink Granite Mountains form the backdrop for secluded bays, pristine waters, white sandy beaches, local wildlife and walking trails. We travel from Hobart heading east then following the coastline north. We travel through the seaside towns of Orford and Swansea. Enjoy a brief stop at Spiky Bridge, a convict built bridge, picturesque Spiky Beach and then on into the National Park. We walk as a group to the Wineglass Bay Lookout where your guide will help you take those sought after photographs and offer you some walking options for the day. After a very full 4 5 hours at Freycinet National Park we begin the trip back to Hobart. We have a brief stop at the Freycinet Marine Farm for anyone interested in sampling the local oysters, mussels or crayfish fresh from the pristine waters of Oyster Bay and surrounds. Friday 27 October 2017: MONTY - SHORT This afternoon we will meet up with Scully for our pre match briefing. We then transfer to AAMI Park for the Official RLWC2017 Welcome Function prior to the opening match of the tournament England V Australia at AAMI Park where we will enjoy Category A+ seating. Post-match we will return transfer to our hotel. Saturday 28 October 2017: MONTY - SHORT After a hectic first couple of days on tour today is a day of leisure. Perhaps you may wish to take up one of our optional experiences. Sunday 29 October 2017: MONTY - SHORT Today we will take a behind the scenes tour of one of the world s most famous stadiums the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The MCG has been the scene of some of Australia s greatest sporting events. The MCG holds the record for the biggest attendance for any State of Origin game with 91,513 spectators attending in 2015. After our tour we will have a special lunch in one of the beautiful dining rooms overlooking this magnificent ground. Monday 30 October 2017: MONTY - SHORT Tuesday 31 October 2017: MONTY - SHORT After check out we transfer to the airport for our flight to the Gold Coast, Australia s summer playground with its beautiful beaches and theme parks. We will enjoy lunch in one of their ocean side venues. This evening when we will attend the famous Outback Spectacular. This internationally renowned dinner show features stockmen and their horses in a high energy exciting interactive spectacular with music and special effects. Today at a magnificent beachside location we will partake in that great tradition when we will have our own Blighty BBQ. We may even have a game of beach cricket and beach touch rugby. We will visit a couple of Award winning wineries where you will have the opportunity to do some wine tasting prior to enjoying a sumptuous lunch overlooking this picturesque area. After this enjoyable day we will return to our hotel. Here we take behind the scene tours based on the history of rugby league at these famous grounds. We will then be taken through the Rugby League Museum within the NRL headquarters. We then head down to Darling Harbour for our famous and exclusive Legends of League Harbour Cruise. This fully catered 4-hour cruise will take in the most beautiful harbour in the world whilst mixing with legends of our great game showing videos of great games of the past. Truly a day to remember!
