So here we go, thought we would try some new places and some old ones too. July 16 - Buck Mulligan's Irish Pub Wednesday, July 16th we will meet at Gahanna's new Creekside area off 270 and route 62 in downtown Gahanna. We will meet at Buck Mulligan's Irish Pub on Mill Street in Gahanna. Happy Hour starts at 4 pm and goes until 7pm and we will meet out on the patio in the back of the restaurant, by the water. This is a new place, opened in May so I thought we should try it before the summer is over. There is a parking garage for parking right off of Mill Street. Now that all the trip money is in we are focusing on getting reservations for the port trips. We are excited about the tours that are being offered. We have lots of wonderful historic places to visit. We will have info on both Sandy's and the ship tours. We urge you to go on the ships website and check out the tours and then compare them with Sandy's. Her tours are through www.shoretrips.com Bring a covered dish to share at the clubs annual picnic meeting. We were successful in getting 2 extra campsites after our last meeting, and are once again able to open the trip to anyone interested. We have 4 spots available as of June 20 th. If you want to go, please contact me at 740-404-7938 to secure your site and make arrangements ASAP. Cost per person is $50.00, which includes the Wine & Cheese reception on Friday night, and morning continental breakfasts. We will also provide a meal rebate for dinner on Saturday night. Debbie Crall & I are finalizing Saturday night activity plans this week. Jim Michel? Kelly s Island is a treasure. A gentle breeze is usually present. The beach is beautiful, and bicycling on the island is great. The glacial grooves are amazing and no matter how many times you see them you are always awestruck! Sunset watching at West End Bar & Grill is a Island happening every night with spectacular views of the sunset. The West End is an island hot spot with a beautiful outdoor large patio with music every night. Of course the West End is in walking distance to the campsite. The campsites are easily accessible, and the bath houses are very well maintained. It s a great weekend to relax and enjoy good friends, great entertainment on the island on Friday & Saturday nights, or just sit and enjoy the campfire! We are required to cancel any sites not used BE- FORE JULY 1, so it will be too late to make arrangements at the July 8 meeting. Give me a call ASAP, and looking forward to seeing all of campers at the next meeting. Carol Amore
