Part 66.A.20(b) privileges The holder og an aircraft maintenance licence may not exercise its privileges unless: 1. In compliance with the applicable requirments of Annex I (Part-M) and Annex II (Part- 145); and 2. In the preceding 2-year period he/she has, either had 6 months of maintenance experience in accordance with the privileges granted by the aircraft maintenance licence or, met the provision for the issue of the appropriate privileges; and 3. he/she has the adequate competence to certify maintenance on the corresponding aircraft; and 4. he/she is able to read, write and communicate to an understandable level in the language(s) in which the technical documentation and procedures necessary to support the issue of the certificate of release to service are written. Part 66 B3 privileges B3 grunnáritun er ný áritun sem á við Piston-engine non-pressurized aeroplanes of 2000 Kg MTOM and below. Grunnnám fyrir B3 hefur verið einfaldað og stytt til að koma á móts við þarfir þeirra sem eingöngu reka minni vélar. Aðeins mögulegt að fá eina hópáritun í B3 skírteini: Piston-engine non-pressurized aeroplanes of 2000 Kg MTOM and below 6/19/2012 9
10 ára tímamörk á grunnnám Þegar sótt er um Part 66 skírteini (grunnáritun) þá þarf námi/prófum/verklegri þjálfun að vera lokið innan síðustu 10 ára á undan auk þess sem uppfylla þarf kröfu um recent experience. Ef liðin eru meira en 10 ár þá ber að gera samanburð á námskrá (Part 66 Appendix I syllabus) sem var í gildi á þeim tíma sem viðkomandi tók próf og gildandi námskrá þegar sótt er um Part 66 skírteini eða examination credits Ef engin breyting hefur orðið á námsskrá þá hefur það ekki áhrif á umsókn auk þess sem gefa má út ný examination credits og gilda þau þá í 10 ár. Ef samanburður leiðir í ljós mismun á námskrám (viðbætur) þá þarf að umsækjandi að uppfylla viðkomandi kröfur áður en hægt er að gefa út Part 66 skírteini. 6/19/2012 10
Fyrning á tegundarnámi - 3 ár Type rating training and On the Job Training (Tegundarþjálfun) Theoretical training (+ examination), practical training ( + assessment) and On the Job Training (when required) must have started and finished within 3 years prior to application for licence endorsement. Type examination and experience (Tegundarpróf og verkefnaþjálfun) Examination + practical experience must be completed within 3 years prior to application for licence endorsement.
