1. During the 2012-2015 period, the Port of Ensenada has grown 52% in Import - Export Container movements and 59% in Cruise arrivals, positioning itself as the most important MIXED port in Mexico. PORT S GROWTH RECORD Movements in 2015: PORTUARIO 193,420 teus 2. 2015 closed with a 38.8% growth in Container movements in comparison to 2014, which represents the biggest growth Ensenada has ever had in its port operation years with a RECORD 193,420 teus. 3. Today full container imports represent the biggest growth as it registers an 84.9% in comparison to 2014 and a 210% in comparison to 2012. 4. During 2015 we crossed the 21,000 Teus line, the average being 11,000 teus. 5. PORT PROJECTS ThePort of Ensenada is implementing a reengineering project, which will provide greater efficiency which will result in a more COMPETITIVE PORT.

INTERACTIVE FOUNTAINS As part of the boardwalk remodeling, the Port Authority with backup from the Board of Tourism has installed a very spectacular interactive fountain which is capable of producing 16 million color tones with 178 geiser type jets. At the moment the fountain is going through its last testing process and hopefully will be operational in tne next couple of months.

SAFETY According to the shipping lines working at the Port of Ensenada, in the last 5 years, there has not been any theft or assault of the merchandise in the Port.

GREEN PORT Last June,2015, The Port of Ensenada was certified as Mexico s First GREEN PORT, by ECOPORTS and Lloyd s Register.
