Back to Cervinia! Almost 10 years after the Italian National Cervinia 4x4, finally Land Rover Experience Italy come back to Valtounenche. The date at about 2000 meters above sea level is set on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of July in Breuil-Cervinia. Previous editions involved up to 2300 participants and more than 1000 Land Rover vehicles from all over Europe! Drivers will start from Cervinia, town of the famous international ski resort with over 200km of slopes, they will climb along the tracks in the shade of Matterhorn, the noblest rock of Europe, towards Plan Maison and Plateau Rosà, over 3500 meters above sea level. Cars will travel several ski slopes, that during the summer offer stunning landscapes and colors to who treats them with respect. For this reason, the event can involve up to 100 cars per day. During the climb towards Plateau Rosà, we will stop in a mountaintop restaurant to have a break and taste the typical products of the area. After lunch we will go on over 3000 meters and then descend again to Cervinia, where there will be rewards and greetings. It will be the end of a wonderful and memorable day! The event is open to all Land Rover owners and vehicles: the dynamic Discovery, the elegant Range Rover, Evoque, Freelander and of course Defender. The off-road routes will be not too difficult and they will be without vegetation. No specific equipment required, apart from the spare wheel (not repair kit), which we consider mandatory. At approximately 09:15 AM will take place a technical briefing and then the departure of crews. The event will last two days, but Saturday 22 nd and Sunday 23 rd programme are the same. IINFORMATION The Land Rover Day is open to all Land Rover vehicles with or without low gear. Let s remember that all participants with above 19 inches wheels should pay more attention! Land Rover Experience staff will be along the tracks to support all participants with useful information and guidance. MANDATORY EQUIPMENT For the off road tour, the spare wheel is always required because in case of punctures that could not be repaired with the Repair Kit, the Land Rover Experience team can only serve with a first aid support.
