INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE ND SFETY WRNINGS EN KEEP WY FROM SOURCES OF HET Keep the tent and its parts away from open flames and sources of heat. Please do not place any sources of heat directly under the roof, as the materials can melt at high temperatures. PROTECT FROM STRONG WINDS e careful to place the tent on the lee side of the bus. If the tent is directly exposed to wind, its structure will be strained under the resulting forces. The tent must always be fastened to the ground with stakes. GYE does not accept any liability for improper use of GYE products. CRE INSTRUCTIONS STORE IN DRY PLCE Never store the tent when it is wet. e sure the tent is stored dry between 0 30 C. (32 90 F.). CLEN CREFULLY Rough, dry dirt is best removed with a fine hand brush or a wet cloth. Crusted residues with sharp edges can damage the tent fabric. The materials should only be cleaned with clear water or with highly diluted detergent. Handle printed materials especially carefully. If you have any doubts, check on an inconspicuous spot if the cleaning agent reacts corrosively with the tent surface. Some of the tent materials are coated with water-resistant and flame-retardant layers. Strong scrubbing or solvent-containing cleaning agents can ruin these layers! GYE does not accept any liability for improper use of GYE products. 15
EN SETUP US TENT 1 2 Remove the rolled-up tent from the transport rucksack and open it up a bit in the middle. Now unroll the tent completely in both directions. 3 Now close all outlet valves on both sides and also one of the inlet valves. WRNING fter filling, the inlet valve must always be closed with the plug attached to it. While inflating the strut, be sure the pressure does not exceed 6 psi / 0,4 bar. The ideal pressure is between 4 and 6 psi, or 0,25 and 0,4 bar. 16
SETUP US TENT EN 4 5 Then turn the entire tent so that the roof side faces up. Place the tube of the electric or hand pump on the open inlet valve on the inside of the tent and proceed to inflate. WRNING e sure that the filling tube of the pump is firmly attached to the inlet valve and is not twisted. 6 Support the tent while inflating by gently lifting the entrance side. 17
EN TTCHING THE FUSION PNELS VERSION ROOF SLIDER VERSION ROOF SLIDER 1 2 Open the boot door of your VW T5 bus and take the Fusion Panel. Thread the Roof Slider into the C-track on the passenger side. Start at the back side and push the Roof Sliders in piece by piece. TTCHING THE FUSION PNELS VERSION ROOF SLIDER EN 5 6 With the knurled screws on the first and last Roof Slider you can tauten and fix the Fusion Panel. Now open the hood. On the passenger side, wrap the fixing cord around the hinge and put the hooks together as before. Then cover with protective sheath. 7 ttach the connector cord the hood on the driver side. to the hinge of WRNING ttaching the Fusion Panel as described on these pages (18 and 19), is valid only for the Roof Slider version. Lead the guy line across the windshield and fix it to the connector cord. If you have a VW bus model California, please use the instructions on the following two pages. 19

Pull the male roofrack profile through the track on the passenger side. Start at the back and pull the profile to the front. EN TTCHING THE FUSION PNELS TO THE TENT 1 2 Situate the tent parallel to the vehicle and tauten the back flare so that it ends up perpendicular to the boot door. Then anchor the flare to the ground with a T-stake. Connect the tent and Fusion Panel with the zipper. Close the zipper all the way to the other end of the Fusion Panel. 3 4 Tauten the tent at the front flares and anchor them with the T-stakes. The 4 flares carry the main static load of the tent. That is why they should always be anchored with the 4 T-stakes. Finally, the front guy lines need to be fixed. e sure that these are stable, because they have to sustain wind loads. WRNING If the tent is used apart from a vehicle, the back guy lines need to be anchored as well. 22
