PO Itinerary & stopovers Day 1 : Friday Boarding at the Port of Montréal After sailing past Old Montréal, you will see, in turn, Notre-Dame and Sainte-Hélène islands, the beautiful Berthier-Sorel achipelago, Trois-Rivières, the Basilica of Notre-Dame-du-Cap, Québec City and its impressive night lights around midnight. Day 2 : Saturday Cruising on the St. Lawrence River and along the Gaspé coast You will sail from Tadoussac on the north bank of the river toward the south bank for a good view of the Gaspé coastline. The impressive windmill park, which stretches all the way to Cap-Chat, will then come into view, followed by the rugged hills of Sainte-Anne-des- Monts, the Chics-Chocs Mountains, Forillon Park and the Bay of Gaspé. Days 3, 4 and 5 : Sunday, Monday and Tuesday Stay-over on the Îles de la Madeleine After breakfast aboard the CTMA Vacancier, you can enjoy one of our packages*, or you will be invited to hit the road to explore the many pathways and treasures of the archipelago at your own pace. *Take advantage of packages or guided tours to explore the wonders of the Islands ($). Day 6 : Wednesday A stopover in Gaspésie and cruising on the St. Lawrence River During the day, you will travel from Bonaventure Island to the Percé Rock, then the ship will stop at the port of Gaspé. This stopover will allow you to take advantage of a few hours to discover the region*. In the afternoon, the ship will once again sail up the River, along the splendid coastline of the Gaspé Peninsula. *Take advantage of packages or guided tours t oexplore the wonders of the Islands ($). Day 7 : Thursday Tadoussac and its whales, Charlevoix, and stopover in Québec City Return by the river s north bank, where you may see whales near Tadoussac, and enjoy the charms of Charlevoix, Côte-de-Beaupré, L Île d Orleans and the Montmorency Falls. In the afternoon, you can explore the most picturesque areas of Québec City* during a stopover of several hours. Day 8 : Friday Return to Montréal After an unforgettable week, the ship will dock at the port of Montréal in the morning.
