Venue INFORMATION BULLETIN 1 1.1 The meeting will take place from 20 th to 21 st September 2017 in Mahe, Seychelles in the Kempinsky Hotel. Opening Session 3.1 The official opening of the meeting will take place on 20 September 2017 at 09:00am. 4. Working Language 4.1 The Meeting will be conducted in the English Language. 5. Tools and Equipment 5.1 Meeting material will ONLY be provided in electronic format. Accordingly, participants are required to bring their own portable computers/laptops configured with Microsoft Windows. 1 The Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority makes its best effort to provide information to participants in order to facilitate their stay in Seychelles and participation at the event(s) to which they are invited. However, SCAA or its employees shall not be liable for any consequences arising from the use of information or views expressed in this bulletin, including but not limited to any loss or damage resulting from decisions taken on the basis of the information and associated views; or for any inaccuracies, omissions or errors it may contain.

6. Transport 6.1 From the Airport The Seychelles CAA will provide transportation from the Airport to the hotel. Participants are requested to provide timely information on their flight number, expected time of arrival, departure and passport number. 6.2 To the meeting venue The meeting will be held at the Kempinski Hotel. 6.3 Public Bus Service Seychelles is served by one national bus company, the Seychelles Public Transport Corporation (SPTC). Buses operate from 5:35am till 20:30pm from Monday to Saturday and from 5:35am till 19:05pm on Sundays. Fares for any route cost only SCR 5. Airconditioned buses are available at a fee of SCR10 per journey on any route. Taxi services are also available for any journeys although they are more expensive. All taxis in Seychelles carry a white taxi sign and have meters. Your hotel can recommend or book you a taxi as well. Some hotels and guest houses offer free shuttle services for their clients. Please ask your hotel reception for assistance. 7. Hotel Information Hotel reservation is being organised by ATNS for all participants. All participants will be staying at the Kempinski Hotel, located at Baie Lazare on Mahe Island. Alternative list of nearby recommended hotels/lodges has been attached at the end of this bulletin for further information. 8. Entry Visa Seychelles is a visa-free country meaning that there are no visa requirements for any person wishing to travel to this country. However, it is to be noted that although a visa is not required prior to entering Seychelles for any nationals, they should nevertheless have in their possession a valid passport or other travel documents recognized by Seychelles to be awarded entry into the country. The passport must be valid for the period of the intended stay until arrival back in the holder s country of origin or residence.

9. Health 9.1 It is recommended that participants should have travel insurance (including health) for the duration of their stay in Seychelles. Participants should particularly ensure that their insurance is applicable in Seychelles. Furthermore, they should carry evidence of current health/hospitalization insurance such as cards that may be produced to health institutions should the need arise. Participants are also encouraged to provide information during registration, on their next of kin who may be contacted on behalf of the participant should the need arise. 9.2 Presentation of a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate at the point of entry in Seychelles is required for persons who originate from or have travelled to the following States: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Comoros, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo, DRC, Côte d Ivoire, Ethiopia, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Guinea Equatorial, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Somalia, Congo, Rwanda, São Tomé and Principe, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Togo and Uganda. 10. Weather 10.1 In September the mean minimum/maximum temperatures are 24 0 C/30 0 C. 10.2 Local time is GMT +4. 11. Local Currency and Foreign Exchange Rates 11.1 The basic unit of currency is the Seychelles Rupees (SCR). 11.2 The SCR exchange rates are determined by the interbank trade which varies daily. Participants may wish to obtain current information from the internet. The average exchange rate provided by the Central Bank of Seychelles is as follows: a) 1 US dollar = SCR 13.95 b) 1Euro = SCR 15.95 c) 1Pound Sterling = SCR 18.10 11.3 Money changing facilities are available at the Seychelles International Airport, provided by Barclays Bank, Nouvobanq and Seymore. There are also money changers in Victoria and at the Providence Industrial Estate (5 minutes by transport from the Airport). All commercial banks are open from 08:30 am to 14:30 pm from Monday to Friday and from 08:30 am to 11:00 am on Saturday. Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) that accept major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express are located at the airport, Victoria and various other locations on the island. 12. Telephones Worldwide direct connections are available, using the international code or telephone operator as necessary. From outside Seychelles, dial +248 followed by the area code (for landline numbers) and the required number. There are three mobile operators in Seychelles, namely Cable, Wireless and Airtel. SIM cards can be acquired at the airport. Please ask for directions if unsure and you will need your passport in order to register the SIM card.

13. Electrical supply Local voltage is 230/240V at 50 Hz. A type-g plug is used for all wall sockets. 13. Security Seychelles is a relatively peaceful country with low crime rate. However, it is advisable to check with the hotel reception regarding security within your surrounding area. - - - - - - - - -
