ESTATE The Poggiovalle Estate, covers about 1000 hectares in the municipality of Città della Pieve and Fabro, in Valdichiana. It has varied altitudes that from the medium Fabro hill, covered by about 280 hectares of turkey oaks and oak trees, and by about 320 hectares of meadows and fields, slope towards the 340 hectares of plains, in the municipality of Città della Pieve. The estate is intersected by various farm roads, which perfectly connect about 10 square km of the territory. There are various farmhouses dating back to sharecropping times, two country house villages, a production area with stables, feed and cereal storage. Chianina and Maremmana breed cattle are bred at Poggiovalle and, during the spring and summer months, they are allowed to roam freely in the vast pastures and meadows that make up the estate.
COUNTRY HOUSE Poggiovalle is a country estate of over 10 Km2, immersed in the Umbrian and Tuscan countryside. It is absolutely uncontaminated and completely private. It is a place where one could encounter wild animals roaming freely throughout the forests, as well as visit a real fully functioning farm. Our guests can stay in an original and ancient rural village, which has been converted into wonderful apartments and little country villas. The ancient village, rich with over 300 years of history, is made up of two groups of farmhouses with a distance of 800 m from each other. Each village has a large panoramic swimming pool. At the country estate, it is possible to combine total relaxation with sports. This is thanks to its over 30 Km of hiking, Nordic walking and mountain-biking trails, four swimming pools, a tennis court, a five-aside football court, and much more. HOSPITALITY Poggiovalle is an estate that boasts an ideal geographical position for traveling to neighboring cities, as well as many fascinating places throughout Tuscany and Umbria. The estate holds various hospitable structures. The two villages, immersed in nature, each one formed by a small cluster of houses and apartments, are equipped with both adult and children swimming pools, recreation grounds, tennis and five-a-side football courts, barbecue areas, convenient parking and laundry. All of the structures provide free Wi-Fi connection. The Borgo Granaro is immersed in informal Tuscan gardens, with rosemary, lavender, cypress and olive trees. It has 6 apartments with independent entrances and 2 small villas, which sleep a total of 40 people. Furthermore, its private swimming pool looks over a breathtaking landscape. The Borgo Belvedere, where one can find the reception and a small library, with reading material in various languages, the chapel, tennis court and adult and children swimming pools, is made up of 14 apartments or little villas surrounded by greenery, with a total of 78 beds. Houses have been restored according to the Umbrian- Tuscan rural traditions. Here, tradition and comfort create the perfect blend of wellbeing for our guests.

Poggiovalle also offers the opportunity to organize training activities aimed at strengthening team spirit, team building, based on the Farming format (milking cows, gathering fruits and vegetables for the preparation of preserves and marmalades, preparing and baking of bread and pizza, gathering eggs from the chicken coup, preparing pastas and marmalades ); as well as survival and orienteering courses, off-road and quad routes, and much more.
