IMAGES FROM FAVORITE WASHINGTON PLACES OCTOBER 2017 MARCH 2018 Level 2 galleria PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION 1
A juried exhibition of fine art photography, Walking the Neighborhood highlights both the creativity of our state s residents and those special Washington places, things and people that inspire us to get on the move. The Washington State Convention Center is located at the intersection of several of Seattle s central neighborhoods. As with the existing Convention Center building, an important design element of the sister convention facility being planned for 9 TH Avenue and Pine Street is enhanced pedestrian connections. We are committed to improving the walking environment between Capitol Hill, First Hill and the Seattle downtown core that environment which reflects both the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and our love of art and architecture in a livable and vibrant city. Just as Seattle is known for its walkability with public seating, landscaping, and amazing views available throughout the city, so are a great many communities, large and small, in our state. The images in this exhibition capture the variety of places people walk, the people they meet along the way, and the things they see and do when out and about. All works are copyrighted by the photographers, and are reproduced with their permission. To inquire about purchasing a photograph, please contact Diana Cross at diana.cross@wscc.com or 206-694-5000.
