Dear Valued Customer, Owning a cottage property is a dream that many people share. is working diligently to create a new cottage development and resort community at Lake Manitoba Narrows that will rival other popular vacation spots around the country. Located just two hours northwest of Winnipeg, Lake Manitoba Narrows is a picturesque getaway. This area is very important to me and as a developer there is nowhere else I would focus my time and efforts onto other than the Narrows. My family settled in this area nearly 100 years ago. I grew up here watching my grandfather transform a small coffee shop into a lodge resort and community amenity. He could see the potential in the area and see that with all its natural beauty and resources, that people would be drawn here either as a vacation destination or a wonderful place to live. This passion and vision is what inspired me to turn the Narrows into a resort community, enabling people to enjoy the richness of cottage living all year round and provide work opportunities so people could have their recreation and occupation at one majestic location. Unlike other developers who buy, subdivide the area and then move on to other locations, I am completed focused on the Narrows and surrounding area. This year we hope to continue working on the 18-hole golf course and have already began to develop a new large hotel project which includes 200 rooms, 2 large dining rooms, a lounge as well as world class spa and 40,000 square foot waterpark. I envision the area to have all the comforts and amenities of a town or small city, such as large grocery stores, medical clinics, retail businesses as well as schools and community centers to benefit all that invest and live in the area. Most people work their whole lives to retire at the lake. I always say why wait until you are retired when you can live and work at the lake now! Many of our customers are out of province due to the beauty of our location. It is difficult to find lakes within Canada that compare to the natural beauty off Lake Manitoba and also provide the current and future amenities we have to offer. It is these features and our competitive prices that make attractive not only to buyers all over the country but also throughout the world. Our newest project is the Ranch Estates subdivision which is located 10 km west of the Narrows, on a beautiful private bay just around the corner from our existing Lodge and just down the shore from our nearly complete golf course and upcoming new hotel. This gated community consists of 60 lots which range from 2 to 5 acres in size. This project will have a canal system running through the entire development enabling all lot owners to have a private dock on the lot and lake access. This canal system also creates a magical skating experience in the winter months. In the center of the project is a beautiful family park for each of the land owners to enjoy. To the west of this project, only a short walk away is a beautiful two-mile long, horseshoe shaped, unobstructed, white sandy beach for everyone in this project to enjoy. I myself purchased land in the Ranch Estates and personally live in the home there. My wife and I will be building our dream home on the lot that we saved for ourselves so that our children, our friends and family can continue to enjoy this area for generations to come! Life at the Narrows The Rural Municipality of Alonsa and the Rural Municipality of Siglunes are located in north central Manitoba, straddling Lake Manitoba along the full length of its eastern border. Blessed with Lake Manitoba along its eastern border, the municipalities can offer the lovely Lake Manitoba Narrows with its natural beauty as a place to either live or spend your recreational time all year. Lake Manitoba is a large (4624 km 2 ) lake in central North America in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It is located about 75km northwest of the province s capital, Winnipeg, at 51 0 N 98 0 45 W. Lake Manitoba provides a diverse fishery that commonly produces walleye, sauger, northern pike, whitefish, burbot and perch. Lake Manitoba is a large hourglass shaped lake, about 200km long. With the east and west shore being so close (approximately 0.5km apart), the water is mostly sheltered from large waves while at the same time very clean because of the flowing water. The lake is a shallow lake with an average depth of approximately 30 feet. These shallow waters tend to stay very warm in the summer which brings out avid swimmers, water skiers and boating fans. Known for its superb fishing, Lake Manitoba Narrows is a master angler s paradise. Besides boasting some of the largest walleye, carp, and freshwater drum in the world, northern pike, perch and sauger are also found in the lake. In the winter, the ice-fishing is tremendous. During the winter, the scenery and terrain is also ideal for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and eco-tourism junkets, which make the properties attractive year-round. As well, the hunting season sees outdoor enthusiasts hit the area in search of bear, whitetail deer and waterfowl. The area is also renowned for providing some of the best waterfowl, whitetail deer, and bear hunting in the world. The Narrows of Lake Manitoba is considered by many as a sportsman s playground. With the flat land and abundance of beautiful shoreline, the area is referred to as Manitoba s Sunset Coast. It is an undiscovered paradise! Property Location, Neighbourhood Analysis and Local Amenities Lake Manitoba Narrows Lodge is a year-round resort that can serve up to 150 guests and it located right on highway 68 and nestles along Lake Manitoba s shores. This resort has been very popular due to the hunting, fishing and natural beauty of the area. The Lodge s conference and meeting rooms are also widely in demand for corporations looking for retreats. For residents nearby, the resort has a general store, a gas station, a fine dining room, a sports lounge, a wine and liquor store as well as a beer vendor. All the essential needs are always available. Area Development Our first development, inspired by our seasonal lot customers, contains 86 lots and holds 10 lakefront chalets only minutes from our Lake Manitoba Narrows Lodge. This was followed by a 330 lot subdivision located on the west shore of Lake Manitoba. This sub-division has sand and cobblestone shoreline facing west on Lake Manitoba. Beach and boat launch facilities are presently located at Lake Manitoba Narrows Lodge located approximately 0.5 km away. The north parcel of the sub-division will host an 18-hole golf course which will be surrounded by cottage lots and a future hotel site. The south parcel of the sub-division is made up of lake-front lots as well as many larger back lots. Our most recent subdivision, Ranch Estates, is a 60 lot subdivision with lots ranging in size from 2 to 5 acres. These lots consist of both lake front properties and lake access properties due to the canal system, which is designed to allow access to the lake from back lot properties.
